    Anyone ever seen this before?

Happened to a backcountry setup for one of our racers. Definitely not the kind of guy to abuse gear, although definitely has been used a lot.
The right pin is splayed out and also elongated. Easy to get it back into position with pliers but then the same thing happens upon entering the heel unit with the boot.
Must be some sort of damage to the internal workings?

You can take the whole heel apart. Seems like one of the arms broke, though.

Atk finally has a US warranty department (pretty sure it's be in SLC), just hit them up.

Anyone know where I can get an Al05? All the american and regular euro sites only have the al07, and the only places I can find with the al05 won't ship to the US

Was about to post this as a PSA.

The black diamond ATK universal spacer moosejaw has for $45 is AL05.

I know as I just ordered and received one.

The skimo universal spacer is also AL05 if you read the description (by AL05, I assume you mean the one with gap space 14.5-20mm)

Mike says they're out of warranty.
But he's providing replacement heel units at a reasonable price.

The arm/pin is okay. Something is wrong though with the internals. I'll try disassembly just for fun.

And here's the new U.S. warranty department for "ATKUSA / Race Ready" in Utah:

I need to up the powa on my reading glasses. No problems with them but i have been noticing how light it is to clink into my raider 14 toes. I was inspecting them and only now noticing and able to read that it has 3 settings. Light, med hard i think it says. What are people using for settings on these? Im considering putting mine on the medium setting

Mounted these up last night. Lift lap shakedown today to see if my +2.25 mount was ok. Kulhuars are so nice up close. Stripped down machining everywhere w lots of for/aft heel adjust with a gap and spring for ski flex. Made a 5mm toe riser with a $5 cutting boardClick image for larger version.

Oh ok, not much of a concern then. I thought it might be for release. I havent had any pre releases but testing that theyre very smooth releasing when i kick the heel out sideways. Smoother than any other pintech binding ive tried. Both , kuluars and raiders, are running brakes and they feel like they add friction on the release. Seems like these guys have done their homework but im a bit curious on the brake pad height. Maybe its right, idk

I ordered from oliunid a couple weeks ago and the stuff got to me after about 8 days. They didn't send anything until it was through customs which was like 3-4 days after they said it was supposed to ship, so that could be happening to you as well

Yep - I got the email about 2 hours after I posted here. Figured the Oliniud fulfillment team was lurking this thread

Tried printing toe shims for R12. This one is 4mm thick, weighs 12.8g - could probably remove a bit more material to shave off a couple of grams.

    Nice!
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
