Snowing quite a bit at the top of Berthoud Pass this morning. Not dumping, but there was a consistent flow. Looked heavier over in the Jones Pass area.

A-Basin was windy and cold as well today. The snow was pretty damn soft though. Ski Patrol took volunteers to ski compress Palli Face, Spine and Main Street at around 1pm. 3 laps, fresh lines, thigh deep. Enough said. Should be open for good in the next few days.

Not really. They forecasted 1-3 last night with 3-6 today and 2-4 tonight.

Actually, they had a lot more forecasted everywhere before yesterday with winter storm watches/warnings in most mountain locations but I guess they changed it at the last minute. Oh well, hopefully they get something today and tonight.

Clever name change- did someone at your law office help you with that?

CAIC forecasted 8-12 last night and 7-11 today. NOAA forecasted 10-20" total.

Ajax reported 3" this morning with 1" in town....

Associated cold front not as robust as first thought....moisture flowing in on SW flow still...finally started snowing in Eagle County, now waiting for the winds to shift.

It seems as though noaa, weather.com, snowforecast.com, are all across the board. Looks like we'll have snow today and tonight, and then again on friday. Is this what everyone else is seeing?

Beav was about 3" since the lifts closed, however Royal Elk was good, some really deep pockets. Hopefully this thing rolls in tonight and tomorrow....some more storm skiing would be nice.

    Cool It keeps on coming...

Should be a good shot tonight into tomorrow with 6-12 expected. Another warning-type system Monday into Tuesday with more storms expected over the holiday weekend...

Same at LL.... Telechuck said it was -40 at the top of Chair 1. Hopefully this next storm Mon-Tue will bring some more snow than the last few.

Its too cold for efficient snow growth. The parade of storms continues into this week.

Keep 'em coming. Copper was good today. I swear no one is skiing the trees there. Well, except for me. Made for a good day of calf to knee deep almost every tree run. Winds were blowing fierce up on Fremont Pass this evening.

If you average the exaggerated totals of snowforecast and Noaa, we should still be slated for at LEAST 15 to 30 by Thursday...

The 5-day QPF forecasts this morning were ridiculous 3+ inches in the northern and central mountains with 4+ inches for the San Juans.
