the weatherman had their collective heads up their collective asses.

they predicted the snow to start after rush hour and finish up 'round noon--two inches max.

its probably snowed already close to four inches in Denver and is still coming down. thankfuckingdios that I get to the office early--the commute today is going to be the suck.

LL is expecting another 3-6 out of this storm... so maybe if you can take a cat to the top of the Ridge, you'll be in luck.

Friend just texted from Eldora, says it's a foot deep on Corona. hell, I know it's only Eldora, but it's also a foot a snow at a place where no one goes.

NW flow pretty strong the rest of the week. Some light embedded shortwaves will brush the area but only small chances of snow. Next shot of anything significant should be the end of the weekend or perhaps the first of next week. That being said, I said 2" out of this lil fella....so what do I know

According to the mid-day snow reports, at least another 8" for Loveland. It should be really f-ing good tomorrow and Wednesday.

Yeah, but at least you'll be able to see the next couple days. Looked like visibility was pretty close to zero up there today.

Plus, it would have taken me 4 hours to get there this morning with the Denver I-25 traffic clusterfuck.

oooooo, this morning was the shit!! Definitely a good day to use one of my free days from the monarch pass.

It got skied pretty hard today. Should be good tomorrow, but you'll have to poke around.
Skiing, whether you're in Wisconsin or the Alps, is a dumbass hick country sport that takes place in the middle of winter on a mountain at the end of a dirt road.

I am actually a bit excited for this as I have a weekend of crusing groomers with my wife and parents in Aspen.

workin' my way. Woke up at 6 yesterday, wasn't planning on seeing an 8" snow report, but decided it was time to test the knee with a pow day. I only had 7 runs in me before the knee was done - spent more time on the road than actually skiing - but it was great to get my first pow day of the season. It was snowing pretty hard into early afternoon with solid winds for the refills. Knee felt good - definitely sore today, so it was wise to shut it off when I did. I should be able to start touring here - probably start at Bert so I can just do some half-days if the knee wears out early.

^^^^ Glad you're back, I start the process on Monday, NOT EXCITED.

SO NO PRECIPITATION EXPECTED FOR THE NEXT 10 DAYS. VALLEYS WILL
REMAIN GENERALLY INVERTED AND COLDER THEN THE SLOPES WITH SOME
POSSIBLE EXCEPTIONS SUCH AS THE EAGLE VALLEY. SNOW PACK WILL
    METAMORPHOSE AND CRUST OVER.

Yea, sucks. Crazy how fast information travels. I guess we get to be gimps for a while. Let the snowpack settle and then next month start dumping again. No hucking for me though.
