Shit, if you go by Noaa's forecast, Loveland could be the place tomorrow...and a hell of a lot closer and less crowded then Vail...

It was coming down pretty nicely when I drove through there a few hours back, but it is coming down lightly in EV right now though.

Skied there today- was deep at the opening of Grouse, but it got tracked out quick. The snow was pretty heavy and thick- and there are quite a few rocks poking out. Hopefully they get the two feet predicted (antijinx).

Any updates from anybody in the mtns?

Will this leave Vail or any of the five mtns, Kuro-able by Monday?

Looking at these things is making me grow a...well you get it.
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

Looking at the CDOT cams, it appears to be coming down quite heavily just about everywhere.

PUKING doesn't describe what it is currently doing in Eagle-Vail....I would guess the 3-4" an hour range currently.

Highlands is reporting 15, 23 in the last 48. If I didn't have so much work to do this weekend, I would've been there. Vail - 12, beaver creek - 14, breck and keystone - 5, loveland reports 11. We only got a few inches up here. Hopefully it keeps storming through Wednesday as predicted and we'll pick up another foot or 2 in the next few days. Looks like a decent chance for Mon-Mon night.

Vail was fucking sick. Was ripping midthigh tree shots in Blue Sky...that is until lover's leap slid out to the dirt. Blue Sky was subsequently closed.

Crazy. Anyone skiing it at the time? Any pics of that out there?

We had knee deep all day in the trees at copper. There was nobody there, and no one skiing the trees really, so we had it all pretty much to ourselves. It was nice.

Hopefully it starts dumping again shortly.
