^^ Looks like a NOAA point forecast? What location? Leadville area isn't predicting that promising so far, but if click up around Massive and towards Indy Pass it looks good.

you better believe it. been staying in mummy mode in my bed the last couple of days, drinking gallons of OJ, and the meds flowing. I should be good to go by Sunday. Too bad you'll be at the Butte.

Is there a contingency plan in place if you miss the final, or will the prof just give you an F? Having to take a whole class over again would suck more than missing one powder day IMO. I'd email the prof and see if he will let you take it later in the week if weather shuts down the roads.

As a teacher, I'm pretty flexible with anything as long as the student comes to me and makes a plan to get the work done.

I'm trying to get to the 'Boat at least one day, maybe Sunday or Monday. Still looking for an extra comp for a friend, so it might not work out. I'll probably be at Vail/BC at some point. I have a number for you, but I think you might have sent me a new number I didn't save.

Flail is not in my plans this weekend. I'm gonna camp outside of Eiseman and hope you let me in.

CAIC has Summit/Vail 6-9 tomorrow night and Aspen 12-16 (yay funken!).

I hope the wind veers a bit more westerly to kick up better totals for Vail.

    Reading from Steamboat's 'localized' forecast:

    BEHIND THE FRONT 700MB TEMPS
DROP INTO THE DENDRITE CRYSTAL GROWTH REGION OF -12 TO -16C ACROSS
THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL MTNS. EXPECT EFFICIENT SNOW PRODUCTION OVER
THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL MOUNTAINS WITH SNOW RATIOS AROUND 25:1 LATER
SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY FAVORING NORTH-FACING SLOPES.
that sounds like classic champagne pow right there.

Ya the 12,000ft point forecast is pretty decent.

Saturday Night: Snow and areas of blowing snow. Low around 6. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph decreasing to between 10 and 15 mph. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 13 to 19 inches possible.

That's tempting to use one of my highlands days, but I hear it's pretty thin up there so far, so not sure if I want to make the trek over yet. I'm using one day for sure over xmas, so need to make sure to get good use out of the other three.

It's been snowing here the last couple hours, maybe an inch or two on the ground already. Kinda let up a bit at the moment, but the mountains are sacked in.

Can I touch you? I'll take my sunlight, nice weather, good looking women and occassional powder any day, dipshit.

    Take your gloating elsewhere.

I mean, I don't blame the guy for being stoked on 269" YTD, but why come into our nerd herd of a weather discussion thread to gloat. Especially, when he has his own thread on the main forum.
