You realize PSIA people hate how free I move...... but I make 45 and hour + tips as instructor. Its become a 2k a week job in he winter working 3.5 days a week. but its still nothing compared to trading. I can make 2k in a day usually day trading but only do it a day a week because quite frankly I would rather ski.

TBH I think I found something. I fucked up my boot alignment be accident years ago. I some how put the max forward lean shim on my left boot and the mid one on my right boot. My left knee has been dieing so I was trying to make a more upright stance , the super upright stance was awful so I went to put the shims I had taken out back in, only to realize they were two different shims. I went back to middle on my right boot(which was the same as it was I think) and make a duct tape shim to go back to middle on left boot. Needless to say I think its much better, and its not me making over flexxed. Still with all the carbon in the spine to keep it from flexxing as much as possible.

The stupid thing is I aligned other people's boots all the time....and I am much more careful with them.

We actually measured 45+ in many places, heck I cam back though and p t my cell phone on the flattest part of the mogul and got 45 degree above the camera.

So yeah it slow. The haters who can not ski are going to say they can ski it faster, but lets see you do there aon that slope.
    I can ski that faster.

It's like Elvis and Stein made a baby at a Polka Rave! More tail than Sinatra!

    He's the real deal, though...

Hansi is the hero we need… He tours on frame bindings, dolphin turns like Flipper, demonstrates the lost art of the ski chair, and runs off poachers. Fucking Legend.

Hansi is testing my Faith in the GSA.

He seems like the Austrian equivalent of John Denver. Though his skiing is better.

What's to critique? As pointed out above: Hansi is fucking flawless!

Never met the Bushman, but I figured he woulda settled down after Bob Peters schooled him on slalom skis in Jackson Hole many moons ago, but apparently that didn't happen, or the effect has worn off.

Well, if you're gonna see him then I guess best to get it straight from the horse's, er, mouth, because 1) I wasn't there, just remember being transfixed reading about the whole thing online, 2) It was a dozen (maybe longer?) years ago, and 3) At this stage of the game I've forgotten more than I remember, and what I do remember often turns out to be wrong. (What? That wasn't actually a "real" orgasm?)

With that said, I recall many back and forths with some bold claims (sounding familiar?) about no way anyone on skinny skis could keep up with Bush on his (then) fatties, some challenges issued, and then finally a meetup in Jackson Hole where Bob Peters, (who is apparently a blood relation to Chuck Norris, also possibly JC Killy), squired bush around the area and in the process ran him ragged on some skinnies. Sorry, there was no $10k that changed hands, or any other sum. (Maybe some drinks were bought and consumed.) And apparently everyone involved agreed that IRL Bush was a damn good skier and actually a pretty nice fellow. I also recall a trip report with several pics. (Be fun to see that again.)

Hope that's not too anticlimactic. And now I'm curious to find out how my memory lines up with what actually transpired.
