^ meh! pole flail
cover looks good.
hoping josh is on to something NOAA isn't fully grasping just yet.
Its coming.
Not only does the skiing look rad…but the food/soups look awesome. Just based on the skiing and food..lol, I can totally say I could see myself living there or at least making several Japanuary trips in my lifetime.

If you are looking to retain any shred of sanity you have left do NOT, and I repeat do NOT read the updated forecaster's discussion from NOAA. You have been warned. Duly.
Nice mountain, but it always had difficulty keeping snow on it.
^^ didn't realize they were running a T-bar. place was on my radar but they closed before i ever got there. i hope they can thrive and maybe wven expand.
ha! i never read the discussions...until you told me NOT to.
hell, i may finally get my new snows (mounted immediately before 12/17 dumpage) onto SNOW.

Heading to the Mines next week. Not what we were hoping for but still psyched.
Dude, so happy for you and your buds.
Don't have expectations set too high...it's been a rough start and not sure 8-10" will fix it but I'll be around. Blue freeride systems jacket, rye flylow bibs, black helmet.
I don't care what bucket head sez, damn, she knows how to ski. ETA: I know you were kidding BH...
On Ascutney: doomed to fail...tooo close to the CT River and fairly low base. Skinned there maybe 10 years ago after a big storm. Skiing was as I remember from my teen years...meh.
^^ hey MNIAW!
yes my post was an exact quote of one's critic's comment after watching
bottlewoman rip some deep woods out west - several pages back.
...and yes, the mines: get some!
anyone chasin' some pow tomorrow?

^^ belated: excellent!
Todays touring zone was fantastic
Headed up to the top
View from the top
Our guide gave us room to roam across the zone now that they know us and how we ski. Tree stoke
Put in a quick figure 8 though as a nice touch
Headed to Furano tomorrow for the next part of the trip. Snow on the way.
Hope it delivers some back home for you all.

I know this has been covered, but search function failing me.
Looking for bootfitter to align my 7 yo son's boots and make orthotics. Seriously knock kneed (genu valgum.) Looking for in the upstates area (within 2 hour of Lake George, for example) with knowledge of aligning young kids.
I'm guessing orthotics and medial sole canting. Challenge is that placing a medial cant shim under right boot prevented right knee from internal rotating with flexion.
Tyx
Xpost to argue about upstates

That was kind of a let down. 3-5 inches at my office in Barre so no snow day for me.
Maybe 3” of heavy flakes here along the lake. Reports of only another inch up on Smuggs.
Maybe it will be enough to Trapps to set some classic tracks tomorrow.
Warming on Sunday is not encouraging. Let’s hope it stays below 32f in the mountains.
