Eastcoast Roll Call TwoTwo/TwoThree A Slow Start to a Big Finish

I spent all week suffering from a nasty cold. Hacking cough, nose like a faucet, headaches - the whole bit. I was able to shuffle a loop around the golf course yesterday so I figured a nice, slow, low angle tour this morning was about my limit. I found beautiful surfy pow at the higher elevations. The kind that lets you just bounce from turn to turn.

I was surprised that the trailhead lot wasn’t more full but was disappointed by the group that left a fire pit with pieces of half burned cord wood still in it melted and refrozen into the snow and ice. Your momma doesn’t live here!

Nice work, Peruvian. We were deep in the woods til noon. Dreamy snow up high.

Anyone want a few wax scrapers from Coreshot? I am yhinking of ordering 10, keeping 3 and distributing the rest. The cost is meeting up with me and perhaps skiing or drinking beer.

I'll take a few scrapers. You can even buy the beer.

The rare warm windless sunny day at Cannon. Everything open. A real treat.

Laps got scraps on the way.

Just remember. They’re $1.02 each. Don’t buy him a nice beer. UC is about right.

Not on your map I think but Plattekill is looking pretty good also. They will probably be open on Wednesday too (no private rental scheduled).

Morning update from base o' Magic: Measured 18" of dense snow at about 8:30am. Still nuking outside. 1-2" per hour. Snow seems to be getting a bit lighter as the storm goes on. Tomorrow should be good.
    Pic from about 7:30am...
