That's exactly right. Same with other diseases that have outbreaks because of the unvaccinated. Buncha dumdums get measles or rubella, and the vaccinated folks also suffer. Vaccination is like driving on the right, it provides protection, not immunity. Protecting the population is a combination of vaccines prevent many cases, and widespread vaccination means prevalence is very low.

its almost as if the virus escaped from a lab where they test and study coronaviruses 🤔

but I forgot you can’t say the virus was man-made or lab-created…

Hey dumbfuck, maybe you haven’t been keeping up with recent events but do you honestly think this virus didn’t escape from the bio-hazard lab in Wuhan? The literal epicenter of the outbreak? That just so happens to have a bio-lab that study’s coronaviruses?

holy fuck you’re dumb. Just put me on ignore like all your other cronies; your stupidity is deafening

edit: seriously, how dense are you?

“Don’t rule out” = your evidence that it surely did.

You are a retard. And not as an insult, as in you literally have mental deficits.

It's unsurprising to me that a lab with the mission of studying coronaviruses would be found in a region of the world with endemic coronaviruses, in an infrastructure with high coronavirus surveillance, in a county with previous experience suffering through coronavirus outbreaks.

    This doesn't count as evidence.

By your logic, Halliburton planted all that oil in the middle east.

Just to remind everyone of the obvious .... the loudest, most emotion-filled voices almost always have the least-informed. Especially true for any scientific/clinical topic. This is because those who truly appreciate the complexity of the problem know that facts drive conclusions and that situations are fluid. And in this world, a well-reasoned and data-driven opinion does not need a megaphone to be impactful.

ill wait for any proof you have otherwise… go smoke some more of your wacky tobacco bud. Why is China so against anyone looking into the origin of the virus? I’ll wait for your explanation because you’re such a smart person 🙄

You can say just about whatever you want here. There was a good discussion about the virus origins a few month ago.

As far as the post you responded to, when I wrote these are the "best studied vaccines in history because of the enormous resources put into studying them not only in the U.S., but also in many other countries" I didn't think of China where they have their own less effective vaccine but instead all the other countries like the U.K., Europe, Brazil, Israel and so on, not to mention the United States, who poured resources into the vaccines and the vaccine trials.

Totally agree. Unfortunately the skeptics like to hang their hat on "but other medicines are studied for 7+ years before they're approved." I guess we were supposed to let everyone die and get sick for the next few years while we "studied the vaccine".

grim report. Guess we just have to go back to living our lives, or dont.

    Your choice.

I also love the aussie dystopian state that blames 1 single American giving their entire country the Delta.

If this was a serious world health issue, borders would actually be closed and not fake closed.

Haha, yup, morans abound. They desperately want to believe something and you can't stop them. The red hat moron brigade will always be there, facts and logic be damned.

Yeah, I see your point. This isn't a serious world health issue at all. Why don't you go back and delete/edit this post (and I'll promise to get rid of this quote to save you some embarrassment).

Can't believe I'm spending time on this (and btw, since when did you decide Biden political appointees are the arbiters of scientific truth?). From your own link (did you read beyond the headline or just cherry picked the first thing googlez gave you to support what you want to be true?):

    ---------------
Little new evidence has emerged to move the needle in one direction or another, these people said. But the fact that the lab leak theory is being seriously considered by top Biden officials is noteworthy and comes amid a growing openness to the idea even though most scientists who study coronaviruses and who have investigated the origins of the pandemic say the evidence strongly supports a natural origin.
    ----------

My italics, but to me that's the important part. I'm not going to pay attention to what the politicians say on this, D or R. YMMV.

On Thursday, the director-general of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said it had been "premature" to dismiss the possibility that a lab leak had spawned the pandemic and urged China to provide "direct information on what the situation of these labs was before and at the start of the pandemic."
