So this stupid missionary paddles out there and gets speared, you’ve all read about it, but I’m intrigued as to how these people remain isolated?

Haven’t they paddled off the island themselves? My first guess was a European shot up the place 150 yrs ago and now they teach their young to spear any white people. Seems that is correct.

But I’m curious to know what goes through their head when they see planes and boats?
