To funny...thank baby jeezuz I paid off the mortgage right before my income became 25% of what it was forever.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Don't follow my own, but it would be carpe diem, live today, etc. etc.

Pretty much done the slave away and save routine, but hell I might end up a dead in a few years without having lived life to it's fullest.

Lost a good ski buddy to cancer last year who just about to where he could enjoy all he'd worked and saved for.

Lately, personal life: "serenity now". Professional life: " Be a part of the Solution".

Lots of room for cross over.

"Do it now, do it well, sleep later" - grad school

    Or

"Keep your head down for just a couple more weeks, and then you can really screw over the assholes" - the miserable full-time gig I continue to suffer through despite the obvious fact that there are simply not enough hours in the day for it all. God, I fucking hate that office and the douchnozzles who work there.

    ...I feel better already!

Lately I seem to spend a lot of time telling myself: "The line between rich and poor keeps getting thinner and thinner in America. Which side of it do you want to be on?"

And this from a guy who never actually wanted to be what I used to think of as rich. I just want to be able to send my kids to school and maybe retire some day.
