    What's your current mantra?

Mine is: you are WAY overdue for a break. Keep working- it will be bigger that way when it comes.

Sitting around, smoking marijuana, eating Cheetos and masturbating do not constitute 'plans.'

"Plan for the worst and hope for the best". My wife thinks I am to pessimistic. Me, I just don't like to have shit happen, that I have no control over.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

mine is you'll never get the credit due, so just plot your time and pile up money into a big enough pile to never need a job.

It's a toss up between my sig line and, "none of this will matter when I'm dead".
Really depends on what kind of day I'm having...

We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

I just keep trying to do better. It's not complicated, but it's pretty hard.

Had the same one for years: Don't fuck up.

Repeated all mantra-like at moments requiring...um, meditation.
