Underground Surf Film Punches Above its Weight

Now here’s a quality piece of surf cinematography to get you planning your next adventure.

Watch Caleb Cutmore, Luke O’Neil, and friends score for three days straight down the coast of New Zealand.

Underground videographer Cameron Haylock cobbled together a couple buddies, a (mostly) functioning Subaru, and a diverse quiver of boards to chase a scrumptious looking run of swell down south.

“Having Caleb and Luke on the same trip was a dream for me, two good friends who quietly dance like no ones watching when they surf their chosen crafts. the fact of the matter is they do it better then most and it’s so beautiful everyone ends up watching them all the time. Ya got to back the homies and that’s one of the joys I get as a filmer, I get to quietly show everyone all the homies that are quietly doing there thing.”
-Cameron Haylock

Haylock’s channel is unassuming, but this moody little video is downright inspirational. Going off his subscriber and view counts, one is happily surprised by the thoughtfulness of Haylock’s work, not to mention the quality of the surfing he captures.

Well done, boys.
