Content Manager

The Content Manager is responsible for day-to-day management and execution of TGR’s digital content plan and editorial operation. The role will help develop and own TGR’s holistic content strategy, content and media campaign calendar, and drive content engagement and performance across our owned and social media channels.

To be successful in the role, the individual must be resourceful and proactive. Daily tasks include managing campaigns, implementing daily content and editorial plans, while providing creative leadership. This person will work cross-organizationally to align content, editorial and business goals, and help establish repeatable processes that enable the successful, timely creation and delivery of high-quality, brand-aligned content.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the digital content and media space, including the creation and aggregation of compelling content and news who approaches their work with a proactive “can do” vibe and appetite for learning. The position reports to the VP of Marketing and member of the Digital x Marketing Team.

Core Qualifications

Digital Media Strategy and Editorial Management:

  • In collaboration with the VP of Marketing and key stakeholders, develop and implement an annual content plan representing all aspects of the TGR business.
  • Develop and maintain an annual content calendar and communicate key milestones, deadlines and changes to internal stakeholders.
  • Responsible for driving successful execution and monitoring of content plan while working with internal teams to weave the TGR brand throughout content deliverables.
  • Drive all content aspects of brand and partnership activations from ideation to implementation.
  • Build a network of freelance contributors and manage assignment contracts
  • Maintains a close working relationship cross-department (eg. Production, Partnerships, Tour, TGR Supply, and TGR Studios) to successfully deliver TGR’s content strategy.
  • Responsible for personally developing original content creation that supports the content strategy, brand, business and partnerships goals.
  • Build and develop new editorial content and column strategies (eg. TGR Likes, TGR Tested, etc.)
  • Research, report, and write a variety of digital media materials, including but not limited to digital series, blog posts, viral content, thought leader interviews, etc.
  • Manages the aggregation of timely, compelling and relevant third-party content for distribution on TGR.com and other channels as appropriate.
  • Establishes protocols and processes to improve and scale content development and delivery.
  • Desire to learn and apply emerging media trends and technologies.

Campaign Management:

  • With the VP of Marketing and Partnerships Team, support efforts to successfully execute content concepts and deliverables for all TGR branded and partnership campaigns.
  • Project manage campaigns on a day-to-day basis, coordinate digital assets and content for campaign execution.
  • Responsible for executing and evaluating brand and partnership campaign execution and performance.
  • Provide cross-team leadership and work cross-functionally with project and campaign stakeholders to ensure a seamless workflow.
  • Develop protocols to create more efficient and effective campaign processes.

Website and Digital Asset Management:

  • Daily oversight and maintenance of TetonGravity.com including working with outside developers, freelancers and/or agencies as needed
  • Responsible for both frontend and backend web user experience through active engagement with CMS and other aspects of the marketing tech stack that drive the website’s performance
  • Daily management of monitoring creative assets and campaigns across the website for performance, conversion and overall brand impact
  • Monitors TGR Stash accounts and engages in ways to cultivate account relationships to help drive content publishing.
  • Oversees asset management for brand, business unit, and partnership marketing needs including the DAM system, asset workflow between digital and production teams
  • Supports the work to continually improve site SEO and UX.
  • Supports on-going TGR Forum needs and liaises with forum moderators (eg. moderation, tapatalk, tech support).
  • Ability to learn and grow Google analytics and other reporting skills to improve day to day execution of successful content creation and distribution.

Responsibilities & What Makes You a Fit

  • 3+ years of marketing, digital content management, and editorial media experience required; college degree preferred
  • Demonstrated background in core digital media and marketing concepts like website optimization, conversion funnels, and audience segmentation preferred
  • Proven project and campaign management experience
  • Fluency in marketing tech stacks required, experience in ExpressionEngine preferred
  • Videography and photography skills a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a major plus
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel a must
  • A keen eye for content, high level of organization, and attention to detail is a must.
  • Strong cross-departmental and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with tight deadlines and ambiguity
  • Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills

Social Media Manager

About the Role

The Social Media Manager is responsible for day-to-day management and execution of TGR’s social media strategy and plan. The role will help develop and own TGR’s holistic social media strategy, including content planning, publishing, calendar scheduling, and drive social channel engagement and performance.

To be successful in the role, the individual must be resourceful, proactive, and highly plugged into digital and social trends. For fun, you keep tabs across action sports, lifestyle, entertainment, pop culture, and brands. You’ve got a flair for storytelling and are a creative innovator with an irrational understanding of the internet, memes, and zeitgeist content — and can also demonstrate tangible return on investment. TGR also celebrates having an entrepreneurial nature to try new and different things with minimal direction, a drive for testing and learning as well as the ability to prioritize effectively and balance data-driven and instinct-driven decisions.

Responsible for leading social strategies and campaigns that define TGR’s brand to drive cohesive and impactful narratives. Cares deeply about building an online community of fans who love the TGR brand, athletes and antics.

This person will work cross-organizationally to align social media, digital content, and business goals, and help establish repeatable processes that enable the successful, timely creation and delivery of high-quality, brand-aligned social content. The position reports to the VP of Marketing and is a member of the Digital x Marketing Team.

Core Qualifications

  • Responsible for all aspects of TGR brand social media including implementing strategy, publishing and scheduling, creative asset development, social copywriting, analytics and iteration for future success (brand or agency experience welcome)
  • Build and grow a global organic content and amplification strategy for: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and LinkedIn
  • Confident in social media processes and tactics. You know what works across each social platform and have experience in multi-channel distribution
  • Identify unique demographic nuances and develop individual growth strategies for each platform.
  • Develop and oversee social content calendar development
  • Ensuring brand consistency in social media messaging and creative
  • Uses internal and external social analytics to inform strategy and iterate on creativity and innovation; leads social media monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Self-starter with a solid sense of prioritization and ability to push forward healthy volumes of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Use real-time events and moments in time with cultural and audience insights to develop reactive concepts
  • Provides thought leadership and guidance for social media best practices

Responsibilities & What Makes You a Fit

  • 2+ years of social media experience launching, planning and directly managing accounts; college degree preferred
  • Experience working within the action sports, outdoor and/or snow-sports industry, or equivalent experience at a highly consumer-centric brands with success in the social space and defining strategies from scratch
  • Experience generating and executing large-scale social media campaigns across digital platforms with a track record of growing audiences and delivering on engagement metrics
  • Fluency in social media management, analytics and publishing platforms required (eg. Planoly, Later, Sprout Social, etc.)

Post Production Supervisor

The Post Production Coordinator will be a key member of the post production team working directly with the Post Production Supervisor to manage, organize, and deliver assets through-out the post production process. The Post Production Assistant will be reporting directly to the Director of Production, with day to day oversight from the Post Production Supervisor.

Core Qualifications & What You’ll be Doing:

  • Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve Studio, After Effects, media management applications (Bonus if you have pre-existing experience in: Shotput Pro, Truecheck, Name Mangler)
  • Must be comfortable handling multiple projects and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to collaborate as a team, and create a culture of excellence
  • Ability to ingest, transcode and sync media for a variety of projects
  • Oversee the archival organization process and QC project structure as projects finish
  • Conforming/online experience

  • Ingest, transcode, and sync all media for projects while working with Producers and Post Supervisor to make sure the media is up in a timely manner and ready for editors
  • Assist Post Supervisor in organization and mirroring of field drives
  • Manage, prepare and organize premiere + resolve projects, file structure, and project work flow for editors
  • Keep track of digital media, ensuring it is labeled, stored, and media managed correctly
  • Conform edits and transfer media and assets to editors
  • Assist in basic editing projects
  • QC projects for delivery, as needed for Post Supervisor
  • Provide basic coloring and sound design assistance to finished projects
  • Oversee organization of online media storage ie Vimeo, wetransfer, etc
  • Oversee the archival organization process and QC structure as projects finish while working with editors to ensure best post practices are followed
  • Assist Post Supervisor with stock footage transfers
  • Work alongside Post Supervisor for special projects to ensure media is best organized on server

Retail Store Manager (Boulder)

The Retail Store Manager will be a vital and dynamic team member within the extended TGR retail family. This role is an integral piece for business ownership from merchandising standards, visual representation of the brand within our retail location(s), maintaining profitable sales/goals, and hitting major operational objectives. We’re a brand and company that takes pride in having our key team leaders develop an environment of stoke, shared passion for our customers and their experience both within our retail environment as well as their adventures outdoors, building out excellent teams, and contributing ideas while executing key and major milestones.

Responsibilities & What You’ll be Doing:

  • Creating an environment of customer service excellence while maintaining all integral silos of the store including: product placement, creative store layout and appearance, merchandise displays, POS procedures, and engagement through multimedia opportunities that include tv’s, a film screen room, and virtual reality
  • Driving excellence in administrative tasks to support all store operations, including the timely submission of all personnel paperwork, preparing and submitting multiple reports including POS data capture and inventory planning, and monitoring sales receipts and cash
  • Finding cause and effect within store goals and sales targets to help drive gross profit and revenue, evaluating sales performance across multiple collaborations and product lines, ensure inventory quality and stock
  • Passion for creating a lane and opportunity for all employees and developing key performers with a balance of accountability while placing value on individual strengths
  • Hire, train, collaborate with, champion, develop, and supervise all staff at store location
  • Supervise all staffing needs and scheduling - both full and part time
  • Executes all initiatives and procedures as outlined by Director of Retail

  • Monitoring stock and inventory both outbound and inbound

Partnerships Intern

Position Overview:

As a Partnership Intern, you will support the partnership team on new partner outreach, as well as existing partner activation. Your primary responsibility will be to support the partnership team in identifying potential partners, initiating communication, and setting up introductory meetings. This includes building decks and creating customized proposals for potential partners. Additionally, you will support in developing and maintaining relationships with existing partners. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in partnership development, client relationship management, and business development. This is an unpaid internship.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying potential partnership opportunities by researching, categories, and landscapes.
  • Support partnership outreach efforts by initiating contact with potential partners and setting up meetings.
  • Collaborate with the partnership team to develop and tailor presentations, proposals, and partnership agreements.
  • Help manage the partnership pipeline and track progress of outreach communications.
  • Participate in calls with potential partners, take meeting notes, share internal recaps, and follow up communications with potential partners.
  • Support ongoing client management activities including reporting and addressing partner needs and contract deliverables.
  • Collaborate with partners to gather necessary assets and information for programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital, production, tour, and supply to ensure effective coordination and delivery of partnership initiatives.
  • Lead set up and monitor digital campaigns. Manage all campaigns in Google Ad Manager and provide support across all digital campaign tactics, i.e. social, newsletter, etc.
  • Monitor and analyze partnership performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization on an ongoing basis.
  • Create campaign recap reports for partners
