Web Developer / Sysadmin - Contract

Teton Gravity Research is looking for an experienced part-time Web Developer to manage our legacy code base and monitor site health. This position is part-time (approximately 8-10 hours/week) and is remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop templates for ExpressionEngine, Magento, and vBulletin
  • Further extend the above platforms through plugins and other means
  • Administrate production server environment
  • Maintain development environments for yourself and front-end developer
  • Monitor the health of production servers and respond to emergency issues
  • Work with vendors (related to web hosting, video distribution, etc)

Front-End Developer - Full Time

TGR is seeking an experienced front-end developer. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX wireframes and/or designs into code that will produce visual elements of the application, interactive projects, landing pages, and mobile experiences. This position works closely with the Creative Services and Editorial teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lay out and execute front end detailed technical specifications, including development environments, version control processes, HTML and javascript frameworks for end products, emphasizing modularity and flexible object-oriented programming to accommodate various backend data threads
  • Work closely with the design team and project leadership to ensure the project meets all expectations
  • Understand and stay on top of trends and innovation within front-end development
  • Work with various technology platforms, for example Drupal, Shopify, Brightcove, other OTT platforms
  • Collaborate with Creative Team on execution from wireframe and prototype to final product
  • Steward quality of front-end engineering code base and development workflows, leading by example with diligent work ethic
  • Responsible for daily maintenance, code releases and major feature builds

Desired Skills & Experience

Digital Content Director

TGR is seeking an experienced leader to oversee all aspects of digital editorial content. Reporting to the EVP Business Development, the Digital Content Director will be responsible for all editorial content distributed across TGR's digital platforms. They will play a key role in successfully managing and delivering against a cross platform editorial calendar while managing an internal and external team of contributors. They will ensure all editorial content is reflective of TGR's voice and helps grows our digital audience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Overall digital content strategy on all platforms (website, social, e-newsletters and web series)
  • Generate creative concepts for stories, big ideas, and campaigns to cover all aspect of action sports culture
  • Growing TGR's audience through journalistic, storytelling to engage the TGR community, brand sponsors, professional athletes, and non-TGR content to amplify the TGR voice and market share
  • Ensure that TGR's editorial content is diverse, consistent, and in line with the TGR voice while meeting content deadlines and budgets
  • Effectively lead, coach and mentor all members of the content team

Partnership Producer

The Partnership Producer will be responsible for managing the relationships and workflow involved with TGR's brand partners. The candidate filling this role will be the primary, day-to-day point of contact for TGR's larger brand partnerships, with a focus on partnership satisfaction based upon predetermined partnership expectations. The Partnership Producer will be reporting directly to the EVP of Business Development, with some oversight from the Partnership Development and Ad Operations Director when required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure partnership satisfaction and on-time/on budget delivery of partnership deliverables
  • Ensure that the executive team is made aware, and included where needed, of partnership relationship and delivery statuses
  • Ensure the delivery of partnership renewal pitch presentations on time and within the team's expectations
  • Ensure TGR digital ad operations related to assigned partnerships run smoothly and effectively

The Partnership Producer will be properly briefed on all of TGR's goals, objectives, and project priorities on a weekly basis during the Partnership Development team status meetings.

Core Responsibilities

Partnership Coordination (60% of time)
  • Assigned to manage a fixed number of brand partner accounts
  • Manage the allocation of project team members and the creation of budgets for projects where needed
  • Manage the allocated teams to assure timelines are set, expectations are clearly briefed, and project budgets are maintained
  • Ensure that new opportunities within assigned partnerships are inputted into the CRM and that the pipeline is updated on a weekly basis in line with the Partnership Development Process document
  • Ensure that the EVP is involved in all potential partnership growth discussions on assigned accounts that could exceed $100,000 or opportunities deemed as strategic in nature

  • Coordinate the team's deliverables and communication during the pitch creation process for assigned opportunities

  • Create proposed media plans and facilitate IO completion/implementation on assigned opportunities
  • When needed, create pitch presentations, proposals, or contracts without team support
Ad Operations Management (20%)
  • Ensure that assigned partnership's ad operations across all TGR's platforms run smoothly and effectively
  • Review all media plans for assigned partnerships before contracts are signed to identify any future ad trafficking issues
  • Work with other Partnership Producers to assure all closed campaigns are properly scheduled within the ad operations platform

Post Production - INTERNSHIP

Full Time: 5 Days per Week

Part Time: 3 Days per Week

Internships are available for students interested in learning about and gaining experience at one of the fastest growing brands in the action sports industry.

Interns will assist in management of the online media team with projects, planning, execution and administration. Strong organization and communication skills are required. A passion for action sports and youth culture is a plus.

We have three main intern sessions per year:

Summer Internships: run May - September. Application window: Feb 1st to April 15th

Winter Internships: run December - May. Application window: Oct 1st to Nov 15th

Internship Learning Plan:

  • Create short form videos (15 sec - 5 min) from TGR film content
  • Use TGR post production tools for editing, music, and creative production
  • Learn and work closely with our Production and Digital Media Teams
  • Help upload content to TetonGravity.com and our media partners
  • Create best practices for action sport content library and edits

Skills and Education Requirements:

  • - High School Degree required. Applicants should be in college or have a college degree

Graphic Design - INTERNSHIP

Internships are available for students interested in learning about and gaining experience at one of the fastest growing brands in the action sports industry.

Interns will assist the in-house design team with creating marketing materials and web content for TGR and our partners. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite is required and knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus. This position also requires strong organization and excellent written communication skills. Most importantly, passion for action sports and youth culture is a must!

Internship Learning Plan:

  • Collaborate with the in-house design team to design and execute marketing materials, branding projects, advertising, web pages, and web content for TGR and our partners
  • Assist the digital media team with creative planning and strategy for new and ongoing projects that drive traffic to tetongravity.com and increase fan engagement
  • Assist with maintaining and modifying TetonGravity.com and other TGR online properties
  • Learn about tracking, reporting, and responding to site traffic and trends based on data from a variety of analytics platforms
