Are f&%king kidding me... Kai Lenny is throwing legit snowboard style while surfing at Jaws this week. After the Pe'ahi Challenge had wrapped Kai went out after the comp, this time opting to be towed into the waves as opposed to paddling. The result... arguably the most groundbreaking session in the big wave surfing history. Kai launches a massive air, extending the grab landing back on the wave.
The method comes at 1:10 but the whole edit is well worth the watch.

Yep…. Method is a super tweaked backside grab. This is a stinky frontside grab, stanky straight back leg. 1000 steeze points…. TGR Jonathan Desabris got it wrong :(
