Liz Daley Showcases Spirit in Tribute Video

Editor's Note: KT Miller and friends, reminding us all why we should strive to #livelikeLiz.

TGR contributor, active forum member, and snowboarder Liz Daley passed away last September while snowboarding in Argentina. Before her death she traveled to Alaska with friend and ski mountaineer Caroline Gleich. Together the pair flew deep into the Tordrillo Mountains. For two weeks they camped on the glacier, hiking to the large lines surrounding their camp. The trip became episode 6 of Patagonia's #Find_Away Series, which is dedicated to Liz's memory.

Caroline talks about Liz, "she brings a different attitude to the mountains, this really feminine, positive energy." The American Mountain Guides Association has set up a memorial scholarship fund for aspiring guides who "Live Like Liz." You can find out more information and apply to the scholarship here.
