We’ve been treated to some insane mountain bike racing these last few weeks, and this weekend was no exception. On the World Cup DH front, the world’s fastest gathered yet again in Vallnord, Andorra to face the dustiest, loosest, and arguably fastest track of the season. A standout moment from the weekend was the fact that Jackson Goldstone and Jordan Williams (the two fastest junior men) actually went faster on the day. In other words, the kids are all right. In the main event, there were some new names on top of the podium. Austrian Vali Höll finally got her long-awaited win to take the top spot in the women’s race beating Nina Hoffman and Camille Balanche, while France’s Loris Vergier came back into form to win the men’s race to best Loic Bruni and Finn Iles.
