Tom van Steenbergen Makes You Feel Inferior

Kelowna boy Tom van Steenbergen has been killin' it on the big bike this past year, and his latest colab with California-based film maker Rupert Walker seems to take it a step further. Whistler's bike park just opened, and Tom took full advantage of all the crispy new lips and trails. I mean–MY GOD –Tom is abosolutely slaying it in this edit. Big suicide no-handers, backflips, and frontflips, all on the infamous Crabapple Hits, along with copious amounts of style on every feature showcase why Tom is up there with the best freeriders in the world.

Tom seems to have a grip on his riding early in the summer, and in this coming contest season, he should be bringing some serious fire to the table. Keep an eye out for Tom and his gigantic bag of tricks at many Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour event stops.

All-Female Bike Crew Perfectly Parodies Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE”

This might be one of my favorite videos that I have seen in the past year. This all female bike crew from Whistler perfectly parodies Kendrick Lamar's "HUMBLE". The flow and concepts are flawless, from calling out the bros on the trail to the shitty pink outerwear companies insist on making. The video is almost a shot for shot recreation of Kendrick's original. I have to admit, I'm bumping this track all afternoon.  Check out the original here.

Brendan Howey Turns on the Cheat Codes in his Raw 100 Edit

The recent uptick in delicious Raw 100 edits is exactly what the mountain bike world needs. More style, more speed, better cinematography, and just a more authentic look at the sport itself. Canadian freeride Brendan Howey teamed up cine magician Rupert Walker to produce his own take in the format, tearing up a trail deep in the lush forests of Canada.

Squamish Biking Has Never Looked so Good

Squamish, BC is home to some of the best singletrack in the world, with trails like the infamous Half Nelson rivaling the quality of those just up the road at the Whistler Bike Park. Remi Gauvin stopped through to tear down the primordial woods of Half Nelson at warp speed, lathering on the style, with his front wheel barely touching the ground.
