These days it seems that new ground is being broken every day in the field of adaptive sports. In preparation for mountain biking season here at Jackson Hole, mountain design manager Ranyon Darge has teamed up with Teton Adaptive Sports to make the mountain more inclusive and fun for everyone in the Teton community. In support of organizations like Teton Adaptive that are pushing to make universal trail design more prevalent, Ranyon’s team designed the Deepest Darkest trail to be universally accessible for all riders to enjoy some speed and stoke on the mountain. This is a big step in the right direction for integrating adaptive athletes into outdoor recreation and we are all looking forward to seeing more of these moves in the future.
