When it comes to climbing films, the numbers don’t quite add up. Despite the huge pool of talented female climbers out there, rarely are they featured as the lead character in a high production climbing film. This got the Never Not Collective, an all-female production team, thinking that it was time to finally put a woman on the center stage. In 2017, the group launched a Kickstarter for their project and raised over $79,000 with the help of 1,481 project backers.

Three years of hard work later, the team produced a full-length film featuring eight of the world’s strongest climbers on some of the most breathtaking climbs in the world.
