Nike 6.0 Proost Down Jacket Review

It’s always interesting to see how big brands like Nike enter and build credibility in new sport segments. Some brands flop big time and others make a huge splash by producing good products and integrating seamlessly with the culture. With Nike 6.0, there’s no denying that Nike’s playing to win with an ensemble of some of the best skiers and snowboarders in the world. You can’t have TJ, Mason, Simon, Louie and their other pro riders and lack legitimacy.

Yeah, Nike makes shoes, but what about their outerwear? The entire Nike 6.0 outerwear lineup is youthful, inexpensive and stylish. You’re not going to find super tech outerwear from Nike yet, but what you will find is quality outerwear that won’t break your bank.

The Proost jacket is my favorite 6.0 outerwear piece this year. It’s perfect for skiers and riders who are used to very cold temps and like to always stay warm. The Proost features 10K mm 2 layer recycled Slub Tafetta Fabric, 600+ goose down insulation, angle quilt seams, adjustable hood, music compatible pocket, pit zips and a powder skirt.  You’ll have everything you need with Proost.

I like to think of this jacket as a big, comfortable down sleeping bag. It’s nice and long for extra warmth and the down insulation makes it super soft. Make sure to check the Proost out if you’re looking for a great buy, interested in a down jacket and live someplace extra chilly.
