This winter has brought copious amounts of precipitation to parts of California. Aptly named “Miracle March," storm systems from last month thankfully bolstered the state’s meager snowpack. Now moving in spring the precipitation has continued to flow—just not in the form we’d prefer to see: rain. This weekend a huge rain storm did a number to Kirkwood Mountain Resort. The resort received so much rainfall, that a river flumed down the slopes on Saturday, ultimately forcing a closure of Kirkwood to mitigate the new body of water.
“Wow, #MotherNature has set the bar for a challenge this morning,” the Kirkwood said in a released statement. “Our Mountain operations teams at both Heavenly and Kirkwood continue to assess and work through these challenging conditions… #TrustInMountainOperations.”

Unfortunately after briefly reopening, Kirkwood closed its lifts for the winter season on Sunday. After getting 204” from March’s bountiful snowfall, it looks like all good things do come to an end.

The purpose of the post was to get the news out that when conditions are dry enough, something as insignificant as a metal pedal striking a rock can start a fire. - https://portarthurmobiletruckrepair.com

Safety measures, such as temporary closure of the resort, are necessary to minimize any potential hazards caused by water inflows. It’s better to limit going out and stay at home to play sonic exe which is the most ideal choice.
