Gondola Falls from Cable in Switzerland

A gondola crashed to the ground this Sunday at a ski resort in Switzerland. According to the Luzerner Zeitung, no one was inside the car, however, the 8-person gondola was completely destroyed from the 60-foot fall. As for the 50 other people riding the gondola in nearby cars, they were able to safely evacuate to the station unhurt.

It is still unclear what caused the accident, but high winds were reported for the area. An investigation is currently underway to learn more.
