Early Season Snowstorm Visits the West and Rockies

Since we were getting so envious of the recent snowfall in the Canadian Rockies, Mother Nature decided that it was time to spread the love. We woke up to a fresh layer of snow here in Jackson, Wyoming and we’re not alone. California, Nevada, Utah, and Montana are also reporting some fresh snowfall, and naturally, because it’s so exciting, everyone is sharing the word on social media. Here’s a little early taste of winter:

Big Sky, Montana

Alta, Utah

Snowbird, Utah

Mt. Rose, Lake Tahoe, Nevada

Mammoth Mountain, California

Jackson, Wyoming

Our staff content contributor, Max Ritter, stopped and snapped this during his morning commute.

Meanwhile it’s basically winter in Canada….

We know it's only October, but it's hard to not to get excited about what's to come! What resort is highest on your hit list for this winter?
