Summers in the Tetons can be pretty tiring – with so many bike trails, peaks to climb, and rivers to run, sometimes you just need to take a rest day. But we get it – rest days are just soooo boring. Who wants to just sit around doing nothing? Well, we have the perfect idea for you. This summer, our local town hill Snow King Mountain opened North America’s steepest zip line. Running from the top of the newly constructed gondola, it takes you to the base of the mountain over three spans. We were lucky enough to go for a ride a few weeks ago and can confirm it is indeed a thrill unlike anything else. If numbers like 60 mph, 100+ feet off the ground, and a nearly half-mile long unsupported span get you going, then this is the ride for you. Hop a ride aboard the new gondola, and let gravity do the work for you – all you have to do is strap in and hold on. If you're in need of the most exciting rest day ever, or just a fun day to hang with family and kids, check out ticket options at Snow King here.
