A Canadian woman has survived a skydiving accident in which both her main and backup parachute failed to fully deploy. The unnamed 30-year-old fell more than 5,000 feet before she landed in trees in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Radio Canada reported that the woman hit the ground going at least 37 miles an hour as many spectators looked on. Witnesses described the panic on the ground as the woman came crashing down, with many of them calling her survival a miracle. Incredibly, the woman suffered no life threatening injuries, though she sustained several fractures, including broken vertebrae.
