    Shuvvie boot spreader

Yeah yeah. Another gimmick. Just spread the tongue and cram your foot in.

But I have wicked high insteps. Finally have great boots. But when it’s zero degrees getting in and out ain’t easy. For me it’s the lower boot flaps. Spreading the tongue and upper doesn’t move the lower opening enough.
    Tired of grunting and groaning.

The fact that it grabs the lower boot flap has me intrigued.

I got one. High instep, long feet, Lange xt3 140s. Always been hard to get into, and bruise the top of my foot from scraping on the shell plastic getting in and out. It definitely helps.

its easier to get in boots if you can sit down, I carry a rubbermaid step stool in the backseat,

besides somwhere to sit if I turn it upside down it will hold dirty/ snowy boots

Not quite there yet. But great feedback.
It’s not being old. It’s the high instep and cold plastic.

Yes. A fellow sufferer. Cold Lange stiff plastic meets high instep.

For twenty bucks I need to check this thing out.

And yes. Know how to put on boots and sit and stand and chew gum and walk.

My wife recently watched me try to World Cup Zip Fits into sub 0f boots. I received a lot of well deserved mocking. I don’t think I’ve emotionally or physically recovered. I might have to get one of these things.

Despite the perfect opportunity to mock those of you that put your boots on in the parking lot like the proletariat, I'll pick one up to have on hand in the shop. Good for custies with ankle problems and getting me out of my race boots on a cold day.

Seems like a good compliment for ZipFits for WC entry. Might try out for $20.

Ridiculous piece of plastic arrived today

Test fit on room temp boots. But hot damn. It does open the lower shell. I know this is going to help. Downside is it’s one more do hickey to keep on hand. Then again it’s likely to live in one of my boots in the boot bag.

    Shuvvie boot spreader

Bought one for my wife….cause it will save me kneeling on the dirty pavement in the Creekside parkade helping her get her boots on/off.

Will also see if it helps getting my Zipfits on racer style.

    KC.

    ^^ direct ship.
Ship rates suck. But I bought two. Which left me a penny short. So I bought some screws that are going in the trash. I really wish sellers had imaginary items for sale to meet the minimum shipping requirement.

I’m old, but I have a really high instep with surfer bumps and my boots dig the shit out of them when I’m trying to take them off. Looking forward to trying that shuvvie thing out.
