Monarch. How to?

This should become the standard Monarch thread, to go with the Eldora clusterfuck and the A Basin bag of dicks and the Loveland tomorrow threads.

A Basin pass has 3 Monarch days. Anybody know how that works? You just present your pass at the ticket window?

Yeah but check the blackout dates. Weekends from 1/6-3/4. Kinda BS. Not sure it was like that before.

This week looks like a good one to use those Monarch days. That's some WC type numbers forecast. They might not even be able to open until Mon/Tues.

I bought the pre-season Monarch 4-pack, and am unlikely to use all four days. I oughta be able to spare one. Can't make it until February, though.

11" overnight but they conveniently left the weather off their site. CAIC point forecast is for 30-40 mph winds.

Del Norte will be the next Salida. Mark my words. I was so close to moving to S town a decade ago, so glad I didn't.

Now in the last couple years have sights on palisade, but that will probably blow up before I get the sack to actually make the move.

Can't deal with the rico "culture", and villa grove is not a place to raise my chickens. I really am in a crux. I have a couple spots up near dino, but they don't check my boxes. Why can't we annex eastern Utah and give them the Kansas that we have? Even swap, they can breed there.

I don't even smoke weed, but I fucking hate the state of Utah. In many ways. It's like a vt/nh thing.

Open today, and it was dense but deep. Everything is skiing really nice.

I’m headed up again tomorrow. I get zero cell service so ping me by PM early if you wanna try and meet up. I also usually carry a walkie talkie, channel 1 subchannel 38.

16" yesterday 10" over nite. 3 lifts running due to wind. free refills after noon till they pulled the plug to shoot the pass at 2:30 I was pretty toasted by then any way. Base is now 60.
