Concierge - looks awesome.
Do you have any pics of the helmet carry? That's definitely a feature I'd like to see pictured.
sproing!
Some of the pictures a helmet is in the helmet carry. It's just so clean you can't even tell, which I didn't notice until after the photoshoot. In hindsight I should have shot those at an angle. I attached 2 pics below where a helmet is in the helmet carry. It is the fabric that is a different color from the white, which is an elastic with dyneema woven into it. I am dropping a walkthrough video soon that will show it a bit more clearly.

Badass! I thought that might have been a helmet under there, but wasn't sure. Looks amazing.
ETA: looks like I was wrong - there is a nice light gray inside in the black bag. Sweet!
Guess I'll find out soon cuz I'm gonna go order one.
sproing!
Heck yea! I am so grateful for your support meter-man. I have a lot of awesome products planned for the future and people like you will allow me to keep creating great products!
You'll be psyched to hear the black bag is lined with light fabric, except on the sides where there is no lining, to make it easier to see inside. Both of these pics are from the black pack.

I wondered if that part would double as helmet carry. This pack reminds me of the North Face Snomad. Similar type of helmet carry (one of my absolute favorite features of that pack.)
Looks like a rad pack. Been looking for a new 40L since the Snomad in 45L was discontinued. I think I may have found it this looks dope.
Looks sweet.
Regarding the pricing / 25% off for first hundred. Is that 299 minus 25%? us$ to nKr is pretty nasty these days, so price matters.
To the rest here; I've been skiing with a Osprey Kode 42(?) for years - both inbounds and touring. The simplicity of one pack appeals to me. But I've considered getting a smaller dedicated inbounds pack. Probably around 20l or so.
- avy tools
- helmet carry
- a-frame
- no fancy colours
- solid fabric
- at least one hip-pocket, and preferably one external pocket on lid or somewhere else
- weight not too important
- preferably lid or roll-top (but that's not very common in this size range)
- airbag compability not important
What's out there?
- Mystery ranch Saddle Peak or D-route
- BCA stash pro 22
- Ortovox free rider 22
- Osprey Soelden 22
- EVOC line / line pro 20

Just ordered my Raide! Friggen pumped to check it out - congrats on the launch Concierge
Oh, screw it. I have way too many packs already--what's one more? Ordered a white one.
I'd be stoked if you can offer an add-on hip pocket for the left side so I don't have to make one.
ride bikes, climb, ski, travel, cook, work to fund former, repeat.
I think if I was seeking a pack this year I’d give these a Raides a go. Looks well thought out.

Gravity always wins...
This looks so dialed! And a call out for the pic with the coors lite can hanging outta the outside pocket! Nice style points
Full piece on the Raide pack coming on Powder very soon. For now, it's friggin sick. Having the pack in hand, all of the features make a bunch of sense, and it carries really nicely, while still keeping everything accessible. Really stoked to see this hit the market.
Thanks for the support everyone! It really means a lot and I think you will all be really psyched on the product. I have gotten incredibly positive feedback from all the athletes using it so far like Jim Ryan saying its the best bag he's ever used and so far it seems like Cy has really liked it. For those just seeing this thread now check out raideresearch.com for more info.
sf, the bag is $399 full price and the 25% off special for the first 100 packs brings it down to $299.Looks sweet. Regarding the pricing / 25% off for first hundred. Is that 299 minus 25%? us$ to nKr is pretty nasty these days, so price matters.
sargentdrufus, you nailed it! The front stash pocket is inspired by the Snomad. I have stuffed so many things in that pocket on the Snomad and I have really felt like having a stash on the front has saved me time over the entirety of a tour. There are a lot of really great small details, but rolltop, plus backpanel access, plus stash pocket is what gets me really excited about the pack.I wondered if that part would double as helmet carry. This pack reminds me of the North Face Snomad. Similar type of helmet carry (one of my absolute favorite features of that pack.)

I'm on the hunt for a 30ish L day touring pack that has rear access, that isn't an airbag bag (Sorry concierge, USD to CAD is terrible atm). Looking at the BD Dawn Patrol 32 and Patagucci Snowdrifter. Any feedback?
Very happy with my snowdrifter 40l, a little different design than the 30l though. The 40 is a top loader with a side zip access, vs clamshell design of the 30. Very well made, plenty of pockets, slim, rides very well for the down. The ortovox kodiak shovel I just got fits fine, but some larger shovels may not. It’s not as light as some of the other designs, but I will happily schlep an extra pound for the durability.
The NZ$ is crap, so if anyone's going to NZ this is a really good pack. Not perfect, as lid pocket too small. Generous separate avy tools pocket, top and back access, removable ski/compression straps (reinforced). Carries very well and is solid.
Comes in a 40L as well.

Edit: No hipbelt pockets, but they sell a set for $15 or so, and they work/fit really well.
Love all my Macpac stuff. I load up on Kathmandu and Macpac every time I go home. Might get mum to send one over.

Sounds complicated to bring my canister airbag pack in the plane and I’m due for new pack anyways. I’ve got a trip planned for next weekend so looking to pull the trigger quickly. Not doing any climbing, purely for skiing, would like a good helmet stash and ski attachment. I’ve got a fit question. I’m 6’3, 200 lbs, no belly, wider shoulders. Fit is so important with backpacks but I’m not in a place where I can try packs on. What 30ish liter pack would fit well? Not looking to spend a ton either, deal would be great
Packs I have in the short list:
Black diamond dawn patrol 32L (this is the current one to beat)
Mystery ranch saddle peak
Gregory targhee
BCA stash 30
Patagonia snowdrifter
Osprey kamber 30

I’m a relatively similar build and i liked my stash 30 a lot. I wouldn’t say it’s the best in any one category but it’s all around very solid. Good organization, helmet and ski carry both work well and so does the tool carry if you’re into that, and you get back panel access which is super nice.

I'm really stoked on my Arc Rush SK 42 that I picked up from the outlet. Looks like its now called the Micon.
The roll top allows it to be feel a lot larger than it is, but if you cinch it down it doesn't look much bigger than a 30l pack.
