I mean, you can skip the middle ground and just go to gauze and duct tape, but paper products...yick.
Never had a problem. If it’s a shop wound I’m all about the paper towel and duct tape.
I consider the paper fibers aid in the healing.

Ok. Yeah. I do have bandaids in the travel dop kit
But I also travel with a homemade duct tape bindle

The purpose of bandaids is to quickly stop the blood from dripping so you can get back to cooking or working in the shop without getting blood all over the place. Nothing else works as well. Pro tip--if you think the cut needs duct tape you probably should get stitches.
It's hard to beat Bandaid Tough Strips.
Another pro tip--bad idea to type in the TRG's while you're bleeding. The buttons or keys get stuck.

Smartphone is better for typing while bleeding. Just wipe the screen. Fingerprint reader won't work as well, though.

Call me a rittard, but I disagree that the parking is "clearly" lined there. Needs a refresh.

If I can see it cataracts and all it's clear. Agree that some fresh paint would help. In this case I think the perps just didn't want to park on the dirt and have the front tires have to negotiate the shallow ditch--even though they were Subarus.

UPS, USPS--don't send me repeated emails telling me when my delivery will happen unless you mean it. Please.

Earthquake alert system tested last night at 3 am rather than 10 am because some genius forgot that 7 hr time zone difference.

Job raise systems that only reward time at a position rather than accomplishments. If I'm not getting paid for my work I guess I'm back in the job hunt.

My wife got the alert but I don't think she got the test alert.

    I shut that stuff off.

    Ha!

I get mildly annoyed when the lawnmower batteries die and I have a 30" strip across the middle of the front lawn covered in leaves sticking up above the nice, fresh cut rest of it.

At least you had a couple of full rows.
    This 8”-2” x 8’ strip was annoying.
Why did I hit that one line twice… grumble.

But still much nicer to smell fresh cut grass, instead of gas fumes.

drove out to the beach today to see a house for a project
before arriving, we stopped at the next nearest town to get something to eat before the inconveniently scheduled lunchtime meeting

we found a little sandwich place & ordered two bagels with cream cheese & grabbed two 20oz sodas from the cold case in front of the counter

    cashier: "that will be $25"
    us: "?!?!"
    cashier: "yeah, city tax..."
us: "how much is the bagel & cream cheese?"
    cashier: "$5.95"
    us: [silence]
us: "that doesn't add up...how much are the drinks?"
    cashier: "$5.95"
us: [silence][wtf?!?!] "ok, those are going back..."

later, back on the road, i googled the tax...at first losing coverage and wondering maybe she meant a metaphoric beach town tax since OR has no sales tax...but no, the city did enact a 5% sales tax
but, cashier-person...$6 for a fucking $2 soda is the problem, not the 5% tax
ffs, enacting metaphoric beach town taxes

Receiving a check for $1.10 due to a class action settlement from a Credit Union I used to be a member of. I guess I'm cashing this thing out of spite.

Better to NOT cash it - drives 'em crazy. I'm currently up to 8 letters from Wells Fargo demanding that I cash some weird $14 check I have no memory of, let alone actually have in my possession. Holding out for threatened legal action.

They’ll just escheat it. They don’t actually care that much.
    focus.
