The Zombie related shit was just out of control ~15 years ago. Glad we've moved on, but the current Halloween fixation has replaced it.

This is an interesting theory. I still think its fucking psychopath humans that feel the urge to floss and litter because they are scared of their dentist.

The flosser that set this this whole thing in motion for me was found on top of Lions Loop in Fruita - on the west end of the route. It was still motorized 2-track up there, not sure if that’s still legal.

Dude filling up numerous jerry cans at Costco. Three in this pic were pulled out after he'd already filled three others and put them on the front passenger seat. Of course being small size he had to fill them very slowly so they didn't overflow.

No idea how the next guy in line didn't go ballistic on him, or where the attendant was.

There’s nothing better than doing a huge bike ride, then celebrating with a bit of dental hygiene. This board, of all people, should know that.

Where is this? Looks like he has an Alaska plate. The Costco north of Bellingham is filled with people doing this. People come down from B.C. and get as much gas as they can at the lower price than back home.

Does that guy have a flask of gas in his cargo pocket?
The guy is also dressed like a smoker
I hope he was able to make it back to Alaska without stopping for gas
( i have no idea the distances involved haha)

I can neither confirm nor deny that there may or may not be a female member of my household who leaves those goddam flosser picks everywhere, and somehow I'm the asshole for being upset about it.

I probably shouldn't be packing corn on the cob on my rides, but the floss pics are key when I do.

    This was in Bakersfield.

I've been to the Costco in Bham and seen lines of BC plates filling jerry cans and then stuffing them in the back next to the kids and the massive cooler filled with gallon jugs of milk.

Yes it absolutely starts with idiots tossing them on the ground. Then (maaybe) birds take them for nesting. Could drop it along the way, or it is successfully used for a nest that then eventually breaks down. Organics decay, but these remain.

Square's servers have been down most of the day. No way to process CC sales, right before a wedding weekend with two nights of un-hosted bar. This should be fun.

Is this different than filling up a 40 gallon tank on a truck, then the side by side, then the jerry cans?

Well the guy with the side by side would probably be blocking two pumps, so I'd say he is the bigger asshole.

Ha, the flossers should be displayed right next to the corn for huge sales increases.

On another note, my mom has been in an assisted living facility for almost a year at > $7k/month. An email was sent out at 5:30 p.m. yesterday to the families of the residents stating that they are having a special Grandparents Day celebration tomorrow afternoon. WTF, thanks for the advance notice. I replied all to the entire group saying that is a great idea but how in the hell can you send that out less than 2 days before the event. I added that at $7k/month these things should be planned much better.

Still waiting for a response, but I am hoping that the others on the email chain will speak up and demand something for the crazy money they are paying. It would be such a hassle to move her to another place now that she is finally settled in and has made some friends there, but if they don't up their game we will look into it. Luckily my kids were able to juggle plans and will attend.

Assisted care facilities (some are super nice) don't give a shit. We moved my mother in law into one a few months ago and it's a beautiful place for $5000.00/month. Everything they plan is the same time frame of a couple days out they must not care as they probably see things more day to day and don't consider the schedules of the family. Everybody they deal with is retired. Needless to say I get to miss every thing they plan for the residents. As nice as the place is my mother in law kinda hates it, hates the food, you name it. Whenever Im home she will be at our house (2 miles away) for supper as my wife can't hardly make peanut butter and crackers but she can boil water.

If they plan too far out, might not have so many Grandparents around.

It's not unusual for Seniors Facility members to be cranky about their situation, my Mom sure was. She did have a surprising large circle of friends, however, of a similar mind, gathering for water aerobics to bitch about everything, so although she would never admit it, I think she secretly felt fine there. Think of the anguish most of us go through as our ski world slowly shrinks down to blue groomers ......

The up side is even though your ski world shrinks down to blue groomers you still get to get out to ski and have a little fun.

I was on a flight yesterday and exiting the plane I noticed one of those floss picks in the aisle. It's okay, though, the flight attendants only go up and down the aisle like five times per flight where you could throw that away.

Yeah ..... until you can't and have to enter an assisted living facility.

Is the recruiter market just flooded or what? These people are terrible. They just copy/paste a job description with zero of their own words and think that's doing a good job?
