LOL, if you squint you'll notice its not that different. Power to all wheels, black over black with brightwork trim, tailgate cargo area behind the rear seats, and only about 300 more hp.

Would still rather have a slight line than a pitted front end.

From all angles and a few feet away you can't tell. My ranch truck has a clear bra that is cracked and faded. I couldn't give less of a fuck.

This is exactly what I was wondering about. Do the whole hood or just do the front surfaces and the A pillars/mirrors it sounds like. And if I'm reading everything correctly it sounds like do the ceramic after the PPF so the whole car looks uniform. Shit has changed a ton in the last decade for sure.

4Matic, that's a hell of a PCA meetup, did you get to any of the Car Week shows?

Legends of the Autobahn, Werks, and Mecum. Mecum is a good show but the auction is kinda weak. Not many cars get sold. I wanted to go to Historic races but pals wanted shows. Werks was crazy if you like Porsche. Had to be 2000 Porsches on display.

Wow, that's an awesome trip! Werks has been on the list for a long time, one day I hope to get there.

What a color on that SL!

Original factory one year color. Car was estimated at $1.5mm but hammered at $1.05MM which is in line with values. Legends was cool too. Lots of diversity:

Very cool. I'd love to see all the metal that showed up to these shows.

Got it all pretty today and the dust off it from shipping it cross country (how it got dusty in a closed trailer is beyond me), this what you’re looking for from a rocker profile?

Been playing around with the different drive modes and drive heights. Auto is the easy button as it adapts very quickly and anticipates based on the road ahead how the car will set up. I have to say that the Dynamic (read: sport) setup is my jam. Feels really taut for a big car and holy shit the throttle response and gear shifts. Did an entrance ramp stomp this afternoon and I went from 0-100 in the blink of an eye before even hitting the merge point. (No traffic obviously before anyone clutches pearls)

Fun getting to know a new car that is infinitely more customizable than anything I’ve owned, but it sure is different not being in something little allroad-sized or smaller.

It was mostly a ski review joke. Poorly delivered. But I do appreciate the picture. Has me working on some math problems to show how this purchase is actually going to save me money over keeping my A4 allroad, even more than if I bought a tesla.

I went from a BRZ to that Rover. That was quite the spread.

I remember you commenting about that. Had to be at least a ton in weight difference, yeah?

Are lime green or acid yellow calipers not available on this model? C'mon Audi.

Powdercoat silver that matches the wheels; not sure if that's riser-approved or not.

I for one was waiting for this pic - stellar profile - you can certainly plant the tip on this one. That tail will follow.

    Wagon Stoke

Gonna chip it? From what I read a stage one can overheat the transmission and there still isn’t a go-to TCU chip for it to address the increased torque.

535 vintage wagon shows up next door. Finally chatted up the young lass driving it. She has no idea how cool it is. Poor gal.
