Neil ain't charging the fees. Ticketmaster is.

And he's insisting on mobile tickets only with no transfer rights to give fans the best chance to buy tickets at face value rather than inflated prices (can only re-list tickets on the approved exchange at the price you paid)

American tourist who tried to rape and kill other American tourists near Neuschwanstein.

He pushed one woman down a gorge and tried to rape the other whom he pushed down later. One is dead.

Why? I mean you're on holiday? And why push someone down a mountain near a tourist attraction if your main goal is sexual assault?

Please keep your murderers in the US. [emoji6]

A woman sent me an email today inquiring about a job, and attached her resume. Except she messed up, and instead of her resume, she attached a brochure on workplace discrimination against Hispanic people.

So, she basically said "Hire me or I sue you."

Not gonna be calling her back.

That wouldn't annoy me it would make me laugh. If you cannot apply for a job without proofing your shit you certainly won't be hired. Then again, in this market, we're hiring people with a heartbeat and hoping for the best.

Won't be long before having a heartbeat will be a reason not to hire.

Great - Just what I needed to read about this morning. Damn Hackers.

    https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/16/polit...ent/index.html

Millions of people in Louisiana and Oregon have had their data compromised in the sprawling cyberattack that has also hit the US federal government, state agencies said late Thursday.

The breach has affected 3.5 million Oregonians with driver’s licenses or state ID cards, and anyone with that documentation in Louisiana, authorities said. The Louisiana governor’s office did not put a number on the number of victims but over 3 million Louisianians hold driver’s licenses, according to public data.

The states did not blame anyone in particular for the hack, but federal officials have attributed a broader hacking campaign using the same software vulnerability to a Russian ransomware gang.

I'm annoyed that no one seems to make a good sized quality non-Belgium waffle iron.

My old one finally gave up ghost and I've been having a devil of a time trying to replace it.

Btdt. 30+ years ago I bought a Craftsman ratchet set that had press in spots in the lid only. The sockets just set in the base part. It was really easy to mix up top and bottom and open it upside down, at which time the base contents would grenade everywhere. Some fucking genius probably got paid extra for that move. Fast forward to today and the latches are broken off, so if you pick it up by the handle, it flops open and explodes. One has to carry it flat and open it carefully. It's probably time for a new tool tote for it.

I believe I had the Canadian Tire ‘Mastercraft’ version of that set.

Must have made that mistake a dozen times before I put a label on it.

What do you mean by good sized? Round or square? Electric or stove top?

Would it annoy you even more to know that there also are *different* types of Belgian waffles?

Plate sized at a min. Rectangle is fine. My last one was round and turned out waffles you could break into individual hearts. Before that I had a large rectangle that produced 2 square waffels.

I've seen cheap mini ones that look more like toys than a kitchen appliance.

The only waffles I make are Liege style Beldian waffles. Yeast waffles with a carmelized sugar crust and soft innards. I make them on a Cuisinart electric griddle/sandwich press my wife boughtwith add-on waffle plates. I don't think it matters whether a waffle maker is Belgian or American. If I were going to buy a waffle maker I'd use a cast iron stove top type. For the price I would get two.

I think you meant to say classic waffle and not non-Belgian. But us connoisseurs of waffles know what you mean.

These are pretty good - round or square.

LOL! Yes, classic. Sorry OG! I've got nothing against Belgian made appliances just don't like their waffels.

Does that maker get really hot to the touch?

We've got one of these (Villaware) and it's a workhorse - probably 20 years old at this point. Sometimes wish it made 4 squares instead of just two:
