As crazy as it sounds those are both valid points.

Imagine every grain of sand from every desert, beach, ocean floor, etc was magically suspended in the air, multiply that amount of sand by a trillion. Earth is just one grain within all that sand.

Why is it aliens are attracted to Nevada? I would think if they were intelligent enough to get to earth they'd pick someplace like Walla Walla or Londonderry.

Speaking of time travel, in '95 I met a guy who seriously believed that the world was going to end in 2012 because of some ramifications of time travel. He believed the sun calendar.

That begs another question.

The other night I was blowing up some balloons in front of our dog. I don't think I've ever done that around him before. He freaked and ran into the other room. Meanwhile he will happily tolerate the worst thunder and lightning storms without a care.

So if they do land here, is there something they'd be deathly afraid of that's just a normal thing to us like the big drill, party balloons, or people singing Sweet Caroline?

They're smart in the future, they figured out how to time travel. A little earth movement ain't gonna slow em down. They probably landed in Vegas because they wanted to get a bet down.

Right. This is how it would go for me if I tried to time travel. I’d come through on the other side either at high altitude or deep under water and have just enough time to regret my poor math skills before expiring. Forgot to carry the one or something.
