Dali and Vermeer would be shoe-ins but Van Gogh would probably get snubbed…

Dali was sort of a Nazi, so does his non-painting life factor in? What about all the doping?

The Various Musical Genre, of which some includes Rock n Roll, Hall of Fame is a better name considering who the nominees and inductees are.

Well if you don’t think hip hop, blues, country, etc all have connections to “rock and roll,” I don’t know what to tell you.

Musical genres are a helpful classification tool in broad strokes, but trying to argue whether a specific artist is rock and roll enough is silly, IMO.

Jay-Z is in the RRHF, is it only because of his album with Linkin Park?

I’m annoyed with the dead motorcyclist. He didn’t have to commit motorcycle suicide while I was in hearing distance from this crash. It was a horrific sound that I can’t get out of my head now. He was screaming though the gears like he was at Laguna Seca and then wham. Look at the truck he hit, his moto totaled it!

It’s amazing how hard he hit that truck. Looks like maybe a neighborhood street? Darwin material.

Yeah the whole thing was so loud and then it was silent so fast. I wonder what his speed was. Yep, the truck was turning onto the road I live next to. State street is 40mph, side roads off it are 25mph.

Told my dad the same thing on the phone just now, Darwin Award winner. Pretty sad.

Back to TV sound for a moment. We have a Zvox soundbar that does a pretty good job of filtering down the background noise and upping the treble of voices. Can be adjusted for various levels of voice enhancement. It's the opposite of quality sound but if you'd rather not use CC it helps.

That's annoying that one has to spend a bunch of money for crappy sound.

So for those who have been following along with the saga of my S60 project, I FINALLY got the car up and running. Got 'er detailed and looking pretty fly. All polished up. It took all of two seconds of this car being roadworthy for some asshole at Costco to run into it with one of those big flatbed carts.

SUNNUVA!!! Somebody out there deserves a massive kick to the balls for this one...

I just might cry. Seriously. I somehow go my entire life without incident at Costco parking lots, probably thanks to their wide parking spots with those phat lines in between, but somebody picks NOW to do this?! WTF?! This is why I seriously don't ever want a new car. At least this one was cheap, but it still stings after all the work I put into it.
