Fake snow in Fenway for the NHL Winter Classic. And the hype about the Winter Classic, which has been around only since 2008. And the repetitive dad jokes about baseball the whole game. Even for all that, the outdoor games are very cool, expecially for those of us who learned to play on outdoor rinks and frozen lakes and ponds and backyards (and even fake Dutch canals with windmills on Belle Isle in Detroit.)

We were stuck in a hotel for two nights. We don’t have cable so I was watching FOX News for morbid curiosity. My god, I knew it was biased, it’s the lowest rung on the ladder of journalism. I’m not sure it’s journalism. Everything is written to incite, divide and outrage. There’s no objective factual information. It’s all just opinion. People eat this up. The bits about the Speaker selection and this football tragedy were bizarre

Yeah. Fox is pretty bad. Maybe they should call it BNN, as in the Boomer News Network. The proof is in the commercials. SO many ads for walk-in tubs, rascal scooters, and a myriad of prescription drugs.
