I'm annoyed, my idyllic time at an ecolodge in the mountains/jungle was disrupted by the national govt kidnapping the governor of the department here, and protest rising up in the street. Had to bail on the lodge and drive 3 hours back to the city trying to beat the setting up of road blockades by angry peasants. Clogged up rotaries we're full of honking motorists who obeyed no observable system of merging or traffic rules whatsoever. So i powered through the intersections without letting anyone merge and nearly ran over a dozen pedestrians who were out walking in traffic for some reason.
Super annoying.

Thank Dog I don't have any family that requires flagellating myself to visit during the ABSOLUTELY FUCKING WORST TIME OF THE YEAR, by car or plane, because it only takes year off your life span.

I adopted a policy of no holiday air travel after I graduated college 25 years ago and it has served me well.

The fact that there are 10x the normal amount of people in town this week and it slows down our internet so badly that I can't watch Netflix, annoys me.

The other one that's been bugging me lately is how hard it's gotten to find half gallons of fat free milk that's not $7-8 organic. I just want decent hormone free, fat free in cardboard containers but most stores don't stock it anymore. All they have is quarts of questionable store brands in plastic for way too much. Twice now I've been told that nobody wants fat free milk other than the organic food weirdos.

+1. I went to Whiskeytown playing at a bar back in the day, and I was really pleased when Ryan Adams went off and yelled, yelled really loudly, at the drunks babbling at each other. The place quieted down for most of the rest of the set.
