What are "womens" powder skis?

Are they like men's powder skis identically except for the fact that they take 1 hour to put on?

Ha nice. So she demoed the Atris Birdie in a 169. Liked them ,took a little getting used to since it's her first over 100 ski. She complained that they were heavy as hell which surprised me b/c I thought this is a fairly lightweight ski. I checked, turns out the look demos on them are boat anchors, the set seemed nearly as heavy as mine. Thing she will try the Santa Anna 110 next. Haven't seen any Sheeva 11s around here in LCC.

Hoji W in 171 or 179. My wife tried them for her first ride for 4 years, and found them awesome after just 2 turns in powder. And seem a similar kind of skier than your wife.

Minor, if any, difference between the Rustlers and Sheevas in comparable lengths. If weight is a concern the Hustle 11 might be something to consider as well. Supposedly just slightly softer and lighter than the Rustler-equivalent

I finally after 2 years of trying for the wife out on the billy goats I got for her. Instead of her and Yvette 112’s.

She apologized over and over for not getting on them before. It was pretty eye opening for her

Sheevas are a solid choice. My wife is on Sheeva 9 and currently use them every damn day.

She cam from Nordica Olymoia Warriors (full metal) for firm and Kikus for soft snow. Neither of those skis made her happy in-between fully firm and at least 6" of fresh. The Sheeva 9 makes her happy every damn day.

For a quiver ski, the Sheeva 11 is a nice option. The metal and camber under foot allow grip when hitting firm spots, ice clumps and working your way back to the lift. The rest of the ski flexes supple like and is great in 3D snow. I'd imagine the 11 offering much more float and surface area.

A buddy of ours hated the Rusteler/Sheeva. She was trained in Austria the '90s and is a very aggressive forward leaning skier. She could not figure out how to ski in a more neutral stance.

My wife, OTOH, prefer a more neutral stance, but drives the tips of her Sheeva 9 in firmer conditions, and shifts more upright with soft snow OR when she gets fatigue and the ski works for her either way. More drive-y when she leans in, and more poppy when upright.

Santa Ana requires more regular tip engagement, as did some Volkls she tried. She shopped for Sheeva and Santa Anas but settled on the Sheeva, as it allowed her to be aggressive but also back off when feeling lazy and the ski was great either way.

Gf is looking to get the pandora 110s for her next powder ski, any word on those?

Wife was so happy on the 3rd season Pandora 94, so begging of this winter she got the 110. Claims that those ride great. Mostly tours on them, but she does also groomers, would say ok, as long as it is not too icy. They did put some carbon for this season I believe. Overall very happy, but that's her. Hope that helps in a way.

Sweet, yeah gf is on the green version of the 94s as her DD/touring ski w/ shifts and loves em, was curious if that love would translate to the wider version. What kind of bindings does she use to tour with?

She went both with the Marker Alpinist, but yeah for the DD she loves the 110s. Actually that was the main reason to get them.

I may have a pair of 169 Santa Ana 110's up for grabs I snagged from Ptex if you wanted to go that route.

I have a pair of red white and blue K2 Marksman in 163cm 106 with bright yellow SPX 12 bindings barely used that we just decided to get rid of if anyone is interested. The mount will definitely fit 22.5 and 23.5 boots and likely fit a 24.5.

I haven’t been keeping up with the latest and greatest but I am just flabbergasted that the VJJ is still a ski
