But he did - the answer is no. Because of course they'll approve it! They're out to get us all, somehow!

Guy thinks that somehow there's a possibility that 3-10 years down the road you may go blind (?), your immune system may stop working (wtf?), or any other of weird russian conspiracies may happen. Demonstrates a complete lack of understanding as to how vaccines work (which is okay, we're all basically idiots here) but more alarmingly a complete lack of desire to educate himself on the subject.

Buddy says "do your research" but then appears he hasn't really done any research whatsoever. And I know exactly what his friends think of him - we all have that one friend, the one who's normally a fun person to hang out with, but occasionally makes increasingly inappropriate off-colour jokes, and now for some reason has gone full retard with distrust of the global medical community.

Oh but it's politics at play. Yes, go figure a government's best interests might involve keeping its citizens alive long enough to pay more taxes, and not wanting to keep pouring money down the well of a pandemic just to keep everyone going. In. Every. Single. Country. Crazy, those politics - you just can't trust 'em!

Just take the shot and stop being such a pussy ffs. Help us all out here, for once.

I don't want to paint teamdirt into this level of wackiness, but you know damn well there's a significant segment of society that actually think the vaccines were produced to kill people at some time in the future, at which time the very few who were in on the scheme will be the only people remaining on earth and their domination will be complete--if it weren't for these brave patriots who are refusing to take the vaccine and will thwart their evil plan!

You don't have to; he painted this masterpiece of uninformed shit himself:

Admittedly, I got the date range wrong. Scared of something happening that has never happened before - wackiness all around.

To be fair there is a difference between considering there could be unknown long-term effects from the vaccine versus believing it's a coordinated attempt to intentionally kill billions of people.

This is the level of intelligent thought you get when you pass your driver's license exam and drop out of highschool in grade10 to go make 70k a year in the oil patch.

I still don’t understand the “big pharma is controlling us via vaccines” thing.

My kids are vaccinated against a myriad of debilitating illnesses, I get an annual flu shot and now I’ll probably get an annual COVID shot. In exchange I don’t get sick, my kids don’t get sick and we therefore don’t have to deal with weeks of illness and possibly medical bills.

So I guess I’m controlled because I avoid illnesses that prevent my ability to do what I want? So confusing.

Anyone who's consumed more than 2 beers in one sitting in the last 5 years is unqualified to cite these suspicions for not getting a vaccine, as alcohol is a known carcinogen.

Bottom line if this is the case - possibility of blindness, cancer, and a new AIDS taking shape in 10-15 years - then the person who's afraid of these hilariously unlikely things is a selfish pussy who's afraid to take one for the team like the rest of us. There is also the implication that the vaccinated were all just too stupid to see the writing on the wall and went and got it anyway, which is insulting. I'm sick of trying to be nice to these clowns.

That's because the vaccines also contain a compound that makes you a sheep and believe everything "big pharma" and the govt tell you. Isn't it obvious? Turns out it's not a "blue pill" but instead a "blue shot."

Wifey and kiddo got through. Apparently they were chosen for random tests, but NBD. The border guard approved of the goalie bag. He told my kid “I’m kind of a goalie, too!”

How does the random test work? Do they just direct you somewhere else where the test is then administered?

Hockey bag was the clincher. Couldnt miss with that. I spent a bunch of summers at hockey school kind of being a goalie. Jasoer should be a good time. Banff hockey school is probably similar and a big thing. Ryan Smyth is a banff boy and i think the school is his thing there, not sure its been a minute.

Hell I'll throw my hockey bag in the car next time I go to Canada if that's what it takes.

His camp is in LaDuc, but they are spending a few days in Jasper and Banff.
And a night or two in Deadmonton.
But now the US is chock full of weed, everywhere you go, legal or not.

odds are you will be hit-and-run by a meth-head in a stolen car,
murdered by a hooker's boyfriend, or
get drunk, fall overboard and drown

Missed a lot today! U guys went off the rails with your zombie theories , sheep, blue pills , new type of AIDS etc. U guys are kooks or boredom is getting the best of u.

On a positive ski season isn’t to far off- looks like a possibility of 1st snow Of the new season to hit in the Canadian rockies forecasted for mon/ Tuesday. As usual it will melt but seems like the weather cycle is starting to change.

Typical antivaxer, flip and switch the conversation. Kidding... Probably a good idea there to get back to the snow.
Strange though, I see some anti vax posts from old friends, fundamentalist alt-right christian types and also the PAC Karens, but didn't think it would pop up on here much

People are people and there is no stopping stupid apparently
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Wifey and kiddo are having a fabulous time, in Banff now. They said they had the best Indian food of their lives in Banff, and went to some semi-famous café I think in Canmore? No one has given them the finger while driving, but they have only been there two days, eh?

Maybe it was the crazy weed cafe in canmore. Canmore has indian food wasnt aware bznff does. In banff i like barpa bills for chicken souvlaki or the barpa burger and chaya japanese restaurant. Canmore itd be crazy weed, iron goat and beamers for coffee and breakfast and go warly and stock up on day old huge healthy muffins and chocolate croisons if theyre early

Everyone is stupid about something at some point. Just glad my moment wasn't about vaccines.
