Just left western Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Masks required indoors in all those provinces. 100% compliance.

The Central Okanagan, around Kelowna have now been ordered to mask up indoors, and outdoors if you can't maintain 6' distancing. But I don't think it applies to those that are fully vaccinated.

I got an email from the step mom saying the masks were for all as Covid is blowing up cuz the kids are not getting vacinated.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Therein lies the problem... it's all the non-vaccinated people not wearing masks in large groups and public settings that are spreading CoVid. If people aren't getting vaccinated, do you really think they're going to wear a mask?

No, fully vaxxed American and Europeans will be able to enter the UK and skip the covid test and mandatory quarantine. Canada, being royally snubbed, isn't getting the same allowance.

Dunno, Alanis was only good for one album (but it was a great one). Once anger/hunger/etc. subsided, she kinda, suddenly sucked.

    I'm thinking these guys instead:

Doesn't matter if fully vaxed. Masks for everyone in Kelownafornia. Was down there yesterday and it was absolutely packed with people not wearing them. Mandate didn't come into effect until midnight though.

This has got to be Jason Kenny's idea

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toron...erts-1.6122579

Despite a recent rise in infections in Alberta, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, the province's chief medical officer of health, announced a two-phased approach Wednesday to eliminate the few remaining public health orders in the province.

Starting Thursday, close contacts are no longer required to be notified of exposure by contact tracers nor will they be legally required to isolate, although it's still recommended.

It boggles the mind how completely clueless that mouth breather kenny is. Anything so he can flex in front of a mic. Who in their right mind wouldnt contact trace or quarantine the infected. Thats like 1+1 level

Its an experiment; I'm glad its Alberta doing it. I assume that they are confident that their hospitals will not be over run.

Just like the Republican right wing mouth pieces telling their supporters not to bother getting vaccinated, they are just setting things up to eliminate their own.

Hard to believe it, but Kenny might just managed to get the NDP elected again.

Its all an experiment as there are no right or wrong answers/policy. It would be easy if it was you had a mandate to be totally risk averse then stay in lockdown until 95% of people are vaxxed. Even how you get to 95% would be tricky. Hinshaw seemed to have a logic path while some might disagree is maybe facing a reality that some cannot wish to face. Not a great position to be in.

A BC CDC spokesperson talking about vaccination goals mentioned in passing that 10% of people who receive a covid vaccine don't develop an immune response and aren't actually vaccinated.
If you have a problem & think that someone else is going to solve it for you then you have two problems.
