Forecasted 14" for Santiam by Tuesday. I'm not buying it. I pulled another day on my 7. In February. WTF

Bring the wind kite. You might not come down if you huck anything though.

The app also built in MtB rules - can reserve each of the next seven days but only seven more from day 8 to end of season. After that you get a “can’t complete the transaction” frame.

And they consider 6pm today as day one not day zero, so next Monday is the eighth day from today.

So much for the “reserve 14 days in advance!”

And by 6:25 only the 8th and 10th are still open in January.

Let’s see how next week goes...
Yep, that CC requirement threw me for a loop.

It's gonna be a cluster up there tomorrow - crowds plus limited terrain. I skied in the rain this afternoon and was surprised that the main lot was 80% full.

Maybe sled accessed meadow skipping? I know I am preaching to the choir, but I would think twice about heading into any avalanche terrain for a little bit.

So for someone not familiar with Bachelor or the parking shenanigans - what's the deal with shuttles from Bend? On the website it mentions first come first served and that buying a shuttle ticket doesn't guarantee a spot. Are they normally filling up with people not being able to get parking reservations? Do those things at least have windows that open? Is Bachelor aware how fucking stupid it is to have parking reservations that encourage people to carpool or ride in a bus with a bunch of strangers?

Same here. That may explain it.
The app first asked me if I wanted to connect to my Apple Pay/wallet/whatever the fuck they call it. I don’t have one of those because I don’t trust any apps security. So I gave it a cc # to keep going.

Jonesy has an android device. The app may not recognize whether he has cc info stored on his phone, or may not try to save it...because Android.

I have little confidence in the Parkwhiz app. I certainly don’t trust them with my credit card info, esp. when I’m not buying anything.

I’m gonna call Mt B tomorrow to find out how I can park without exposing sensitive personal data. Will report back.

Yowza, awesome pic, thanks for posting it. The one with the patroller by the debris pile is impressive too...

This parkwiz app might be the only thing that works better on andriod than iphones. Curious to see if all the Monday drops go like yesterdays.

5 inches new looks like an optimistic read, but I believe the name of the game is the same with winds and 2 inches or 5 inches of cold smoke. Find where it ended up and turn in it. Light on the feet where it blew from...

It certainly was annoying to deal with the last minute surprise to add a cc before booking reservations. Cost me a slot for sure with the delay in being able to make reservations.

Can't get up there today. Duty calls...

Still have fingers crossed for a white Xmas in Bend.

Don't understand why Blue and Stadium don't run more often.

Got to love storm skiing during the holidays. Or, why else would you be out there standing in line?

Glad I'm not the only one confused by this. Sunday looks good. Probably looks good to all the wildebeests in that pic as well though...
