It's been lobsterfest all year, a little too much for me actually, every time somebody comes to visit it seems like that's all we eat. But today I'm in Maryland and we had a blast eating crabs and drinking beer on a huge deck next to the Chesapeake this afternoon, that's pretty good livin'.

In the 70s I went to Humboldt State on the north coast of CA, and I'd go down to the docks when the crab boats came in, and got Dungeness cheaper than the chicken in Safeway. A poor college student feasting on fresh crab for weeks...

Weed was pretty cheap there, too, not overrated.

I don't have soccer mom cash, so I just get the whole tenderloin when its on sale for $6 a pound and have the butcher remove the silverskin and cut into streaks. Ribeye has the flavor but I get annoyed paying for USA Choice and getting gristle.
