Dynafit Beaat don't lock in touring mode at the heel

Hi, I got a new pair of dynafit beast 16 binding, but it won't lock in the touring mode on the heel. That is, that the stoppers don't lock in the upper position. The bindings lock perfectly in the skiing mode. Is this a common problem, and am I doing something wrong? I have trie with some force, but they still don't lock

It takes a lot of pressure - you can't really lock the brakes up with your hands, you have to step on the lower riser. Also, make sure you have the updated lower riser, they made a change midway through the first production run (the new low riser has a bump on the bottom to make it easier to lock it into tour mode).

The riser has a bump at the bottom. I am trying really hard with my shoes, but they won't lock.

Put a boot on, click in and use your weight. Mine were quite stiff going in/out at first but loosened up with use.

Thanks. Got it to work with a lot of force

I know you've "fixed" it, but as a data point: when I first mounted them with inserts I used 20mm screws that were a tiny bit too long, so the screw heads stuck up probably about 1mm above normal and made it difficult to lock-in. When my proper length screws came in they were much easier to lock into tour mode.

Is it possible to change screws without to much hassle?

If you're using inserts it's very simple. If you're not using inserts it's still simple (read the mount your own skis thread), but it also means that it's very unlikely they were mounted in a way that caused the same problem I had, especially if it's happening on both feet.
