This a more recent update and shows again how the human factors were strongly at work on the day of this accident, both in this group and all over upper LCC.
JP skied with us a few times at Moonlight Basin. One of the days was on a really big control morning last season and he was already talking about getting out of SLC and moving to Big Sky. He and Aimee would have been great folks to have in the community.
During bow hunting season he got out with one of our managers and tagged along a couple of days until Greg got a real nice Bull with JP helping to drag it out. It seemed like he was really digging living here.
Such a waste.
This isn't the time or place for 2nd guesses or finger shaking. Everyone needs to let the powder-cloud settle a bit and then re-visit this.
RIP and vibes to the family.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Condolences to his family and friends.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.
I knew JP, but not well. I would see him on the tram dock and chat sometimes, also had some conversations with him at the boot shop where we all know each other. We had the same truck and would sometimes discuss suspension setups and whatnot. Met his kids there and the puppy he had to adopt out because it turned out one of them was allergic. No question he was devoted to his family.
Rip In Peace bro...
For those who want to discuss the incident, do it over in the Slide Zone.

Condolences to the family and friends left behind.
Saw this on facebook, thought I would pass it on:
2nd Tracks is opening Jamie Pierre's consignment contract for folks to donate gear for us to sell. Proceeds will go to Jamie's wife Amee and two kids Royal and Clementine. If you currently have gear in the shop and would like us to move an item or two over to Jamie's contract we would be happy to include your name and items in this fundraiser. Or you can simply stop by the shop and include an item not already on consignment. This gear will be clearly marked as "fundraiser for Jamie's family". Thanks so much for your contribution to the Pierre family during an especially painful time.
Please pass the word.

And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
