Good article indeed. Teared up after reading the comment from his brother.
Anything out there about what he had been doing since then?
Here is another sweet tribute. Interview and some sweet pics.

FUCK RIP MAN
You did change minds in 2003.
I remember watching Jamie's creativity. I wasn't just his cliffs but the things he saw, how he read terrain that i thought was inspiring. In a tgr flick there were all these obvious takeoffs he and others were hitting for a drop, but on one, Jamie catapulted out to the side of a spine before taking off.
And in another he had the inspiration plant off a tree on top of stout cliff to start a lincoln loop. I loved seeing that, b/c so few, even today, are doing drops that were/are that creative, playing not only with trajectory but the manner in which you take off. He changed the way i look at terrain.
My heart goes out to his kids and wife. An inspiring flatlander minnesotan yah shoor you betcha! I still remember the first time powder mag wrote up a little column on him. It was pretty damn exciting seeing a minnesotan hit the limelight that big.
Best part. . . pretty fantastic to hear how down to earth and humble he was. And great to see the 2nd tracks donation cause building steam too. I'll have to go thru the gear and see what i can bring on over there.
Rest in peace Jamie. We'll miss you.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. (It) is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. . .There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so. . .people won't feel insecure around you. . . -Williamson
Jamie showed up in Tahoe in the late 90s and I met him while he was crashing at a friends at Alpine. We were sitting around that first night and he started telling us all of the lines he was going to drop. We all thought he was spraying (and the bong was talking)…over the next week he blew our minds. He continued to show us all what was possible…RIP Jamie

Former Managing Editor @ TGR, forever mag.
9 years ago today. lots of low density fluff on the ground today, windy wet coming in tonight. lets no more do this?
Thanks for the bump, something good to be aware of. Is the little memorial shrine in the woods still there?
My father brought me to see the Warren Miller premiere every year as a kid but 2006 was different. JP's record cliff drop was incredible. I had never seen anything like it and him being there to sign my poster blew my teenage mind. 14 years, 1 college degree, and 3 states later, I still have this hanging up in my room.
