I would consider it, looks like a lot of good stuff in the upgrade, only hitch to me is that you can't go back to iOS4 if you wanted to...I'll let them work a few more bugs out, but thanks!

You can downgrade just fine. Use TinyUmbrella to kick you out of the error loop when you do. Easy enough.

Oh yeah, and if it runs good on 3Gs and I get the hook up, can it be installed on my ipad1 too under this deal? I know it can, but are you selling per device activation or what?

3GS people have been very happy. Works great on my iPad1. Brings much needed improvements to notifications and safari!

You should. You can get most of the IOS5 changes if you jailbreak, including mobilenotifier, which gives you more or less the new notification system. It's easy to do and if you mess up, you just restore your phone and try again. Redmundpie.com has some pretty good instructions.

iOS5 fixed just about every reason I've jailbroken. And I've been jailbreaking since iPhone 1 came out and you had to use Terminal/iPhuct to access the file system.

I took Greg up on this, and iOS 5 is pretty cool so far. Installed without issue, and save for one small bug, has been running smoothly from the get-go.

I took Greg up on the offer as well. Got access for my 3Gs and iPad1 (what's $8 right?). Got errors immediately when trying to update but I think that was because it was late night and the UDID registering wasn't immediate. All is kosher now though. 3Gs now on iOS5 and the ipizzle is restoring now.
