Not to pick on you St. Jerry but comments like 'playing safe' make you sound like a jaded fan. This isn't '94 and the band are no longer at their peak...just enjoy the music already.

The shows included........Fluffhead, Gin, Reba, Walk Away, Lengthwise, Antelope, YEM, Funky Bitch, Loving Cup, Suzy, Possum, Wilson, etc, etc, etc.....if that's playing it safe, then I'm all about it....

They were 2 great shows from a band that's been playing for 25 years.
why make ten turns when you only need to make NONE!

I saw them play loving cup on july 3rd in alpharetta. That whole show was killer, it was my first time seeing phish and it did not disappoint. I'm thinking they will go on a fall tour and play in charleston, SC. If that is the case I will most def be there.

Saw them at CMAC and it was great. They played shorter, up tempo songs and not long, drawn out hippie shit...I'm not so into that

wicked cool East Coast venues. Augusta is tiny, that place will melt. Amherst and ManchVegas are an hour from my place woot woot.

i caught the double bill of Phil & Friends with Bob Dylan in Augusta about 12 years ago. it was the Haynes and Trucks edition of Friends. that venue rules. i've seen Dylan at both Manch and Amherst sound rules in both. Providence was always one of my favorite Dead venues, carpeted hallways with speakers when Jerry and the Boy's played there. total freakfest

if these dates pan out, excellent time of the year for New England. Western Mag's might consider coming out for some shows, dry fast single track, and well, the leaves are pretty good also . both ManchVegas and Harshford are easy airports to deal with. come on out! the energy level at East Coast shows is retarded

OH, OK, a page or two back.
Halloween is my B-Day, but I don't think going to Jersey would be worth that.

This is about as universally true of a statement as one can make...pretty much about anything!

I might have to make an effort to get back to the 'ole stomping grounds for the Augusta show. Haven't seen a show there since G n' R back in '93. Place is really friggin' small (7k ish).

::books a room at parents house::

Those dates are a wicked pissah if you live on the West Coast.
