Just got the thing in the mail today, cool. I think I'm gonna have to drop the $ on some grizzlycorn vikics as planned, how're the GC topsheets selling? Want to make sure I get my order in before they're gone.

[QUOTE]For what it's worth, I like big skis and am not used to center-mounts and I went with recommended (-3.5cm ?) and love it. Granted, I'm not a fatass like PowTron so take that for what it's worth.

I think what might be happening to, is that I told the tech to mount at recommended which was -3. But I believe that Scott moved it back a further .5 to -3.5 once production got going which is where he made the mark. So I think the tech may have remeasured and it is actually sitting .5 in front of the marker. So I might move it back 1 or 1.5.
Man, these guys need to have a 2 for 1 sale, or something. Trying to decide which model to buy has been driving me crazy. I was sure I needed the Wrens, then the BGs, then the Caylors, seriously considered the C&Ds for a while, then the Viciks, back to the Wrens, ahhhhhhh!
Finally ended a couple of weeks of fantisizing about making turns in deep pow and ripping crud on every model with some reality therapy, and realized the Viciks would get way more mileage as a daily Colorado area ski.
Pulled the tigger on some Viciks, I doubt it'll stop the Caylor, C&D and BG fantisies, but maybe now I can get a good night's sleep.

Gravity Junkie
Could I order a pair of Wrens with a semi-twin (chopped off) tail?
Just ordered some 191 Caylors to go with my 191 Wrenegades. Oh fuck yes, but dang was it hard to decide which ski I wanted. I could quite easily justify every model in the line.

Trigger pulled on the Billy Goats. Second pair of skis I have bought this week. The wife won't be happy.
^^^ I understand your pain.
Wife- "I think you have enough ski boots."
Me- "But they are on sale."

Those Wrenegades cry out for a NewEngland dump day....
...will be ordering.
I was one of the first, if not the first to sell my billy goats last year. I loved the fit and finish, I told Scott that I thought it needed a few more mm's. I'm stoked that the change has been made, I'm going to give it another shot as promised.
[quote=IJ;2889702]Are you serious??? There is no reason in my mind to remount because you are 5 mm off of where you want to be. just ordered a pair of 186 Billy Goats, super stoked to get them
Sorry that might have gotten a little confusing. What I meant to say was that I believe it is .5 ahead of where it was suggested to be mounted. Then I would remount back 1.5 or 2cm from the mount suggested line (making it about 2 or 2.5cm moved back from the original mount) Make Sense? For what it's worth, I like big skis and am not used to center-mounts and I went with recommended (-3.5cm ?) and love it. Granted, I'm not a fatass like PowTron so take that for what it's worth.
