Definitely will be hitting magic. Hit it once, maybe 1997
I just checked the future - this year will be all time at Magic. So we've got that going for us. Which is good.
Big hitter, the Lama, long.
12th son of the Lama… the flowing robes, the grace, bald… striking.
never been there before so i can’t say but it was up the hill. i had a really good time in the end, there was lots to enjoy. if i get invited back i guess there are some ponds to skate and cliffs to check out in the winter too. kind of cool and made me realize it’s only a couple more months till skiing too…

East coasters, got a question for you. Old college buddy of mine in the Baltimore area is looking to get new boots. What are the good shops/boot fitters in the Baltimore, DC area? Up to southern DE (Wilmington) also OK. What he refers to as the "dmv" area.
Thanks!

I have lived in that area for a few years. I don’t think I have a great answer but the best place (out of not much) I have found so far is ski Haus in annapolis. They have a decent boot selection and they advertise boot fitters. Although as an aside I took some skis in for some work and wasn’t impressed with what they did or their prices. So if I were him and had to buy new boots down here I would go there but then take them to for the mount work.

I dunno about B-more...but I'm guessing there's nothing. But if he wants to come all the way up here, take the extra bit of time and go to Buckmans. Either the KOP one (where he can see a GIANT mall) or the Exton one (where he can visit Victory). Those two have actual ski people there (or they traditionally do) while the other locations are smaller shops. The one in Allentown is decent too...but then you're talking another 1.5hrs.
My recco: wait until they travel up to VT or out West...and buy while on vacation at an actual shop.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.
I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
My sister and BIL are selling their beloved house in Montgomery village, VT. Cool and funky house, 15-ish minute drive from Stateside parking at Jay Peak, 30 second walk from trout stream, sleeps many, could be great full-time residence or seasonal house:

That looks pretty nice! I am sure it will go fast but... would they like to host an Ullrfest in about three weeks? A big event could bring in a lot of prospective dentists!
