Her balletic technique is showcased in Gaps Sabuero’s video, “Born Here." The film explores her roots of growing up on Siargao Island in the Philippines, and when coupled with spoken word narration and Prendergast’s effortless abilities, the edit feels more like a piece of art than a traditional surf clip.
